Do you live on Roda golf & Beach resort? Have there been may break-ins there?

Jonathon has had his alarm installed on Senoria De Roda the development opposite -they have had a quite a few break ins.  See the SDR forum for further details.

I am very suprised to hear of breakins at RG&BR. When i was there 2 weeks ago the security was tight during the week, but must admit at the wekend there did not seem to be any security except on the entrance to the resort.With the golf course open to the public it would seem anybody can gain access during daylight.

On the basis the resort has only recently started to sign over properties are we talking about breakins on unoccupied properties.?

Will somebody clarify this situation and report back to the forum.

There has been a misunderstanding - I have been in touch with Jonathon (Dilog) and he lives on SDR where there have been a number of break ins and he was letting us RGBR people know that he can recommend an alarm company if we wish.  I don't think there have been any break ins on RGBR as yet but this will probably change in the future, although hopefully it will not be a major problem.  On SDR there are no security patrols so it is very easy for people to go on site undetected and not questioned.

Can anyone verify the break in situation at roda, from the forum I cannot make out if these breakins are at roda or at another site and if the break ins are on empty new apartments or lived in ones where there is more to steal.

 

If you look on the Senorio de Roda forum you will see they have had a lot of problems with burglary.  This is the development of coloured properties sited behind Roda.  I do not know of any reported 'break ins' or problems at Roda so far.  We will be paying a premium for the 24 hour security, entrance barriers etc but I am sure this will not stop some thieves.  An alarm system, using the security shutters and good neighbourhood watch could be essential too!
