Thought I'd start this thread for anyone wanting their money back yet still hope to keep their dream alive and move to Spain, paticularly to Jumilla.
Early next week I am up their again with another Developer who alledgedly has all the licences in place to build, in fact already has some key ready propeties so if anyone is interested in looking at another property in the area, please drop me a PM and I'll send you details when I have them. I'm making sure all is legitimate before I pass anything on though....I want to see the licences for myself.

Good question Linda,
At present I don't think it is planned however apparently the developer is watching the situation with SJ very closely and if things don't go ahead, they have purchase rights on land to develop a course to suppliment the area. I will find out and post back.
Question back to you Linda, do you know how many other urbs have been givena green light for the area. I've heard 4 have been signed off but a futher 8-10 are in with the ayuntamiento for approval but looks unlikely many will be passed.

Have not checked for a while so will get an update if I can and post. I dont think it necessary that the facilities are there on site as they will naturally follow in time as people see opportunity. There are a lot of facilities in Jumilla to serve communities until that happens. I do think the golf course is essential though in order to attract holiday makers which is what the community needs.. Will get back on this subject asap.

Hi Darren and Linda,
I looked into an other off plan development at Jumilla back in 2006 being sold by Pegasus.
Interseting idea though. Do you think what happened at Playa golf could happen at SADM, were other developers take up options on part of the site?

I have the mother of all hangovers, like linda, didnt stop until the sun came up so today has been a wipe out but woth every moment
Difference with Playa Golf and SADM is stage of development. Whereby PG has 'stock' - key ready properties therefore a tangible value, SADM has not and is down to pure business potential should another developer take interest in options. With the numbers of sales to date, I'd be doubtful it is seen as a viable option.
I know Pegasus is definately one of the urbs under offer.
Linda, be good to find out who else has permission and at what stage they are and the other applicants. I'll be up probably next monday morning and would be great to meet up with you and David again to catch up.

Hola todos,
The list posted by Linda Needham tells a sorry tale. No approval for most of the projects. The most worrying of all is that San Jose project at Santa Ana has no approval for its urbanization. I know that that the Political Parties The PP Party Popular and the PSOE The Socialist Party have been at loggerheads since the inception of this project, now we see that after 4 years there is no planning permission for an urbanization at Santa Ana. Que pena !.

maybe someone will listen to me at last. i suppose tony (i can shout loudest) still believes there is no problems in jumilla in getting planning.
water shortages, san jose have no money, banks have lost interest and have no money, assets valued based on land aquisitions.
but tony and brian and their solicitor went to san jose and they said it was okay
so it must be okay

Hi All,
I have noted what laganside has said about the licence and as this was as of January 2008 there is the posabilty that this may have changed in 6 months. We have allready had a posting some time back on another thread were someone ( yes i can not remeber who) contacted the Town Hall at Jumilla and got confirmation that the licence was awaiting for the deposit of the money ( about 5 million E)
So I am still going to wait and see what the administrators come up with, I see no point in doing much else as my solicitor is handling the recognition of my deposit.
It is not over until the administrators and court say so.

This list is published on the Izquierde Unica web site which is the far left green party. They are anti everything and only won 2 seats in the last election in Jumilla. I dont think it is possible for Jumilla to support all the promotions that are lodged for approval so it would make sense that many are not approved for a variety of reasons. This list on their site was last updated in January and some things could have changed since then.
