Just back from Spain last night and went to see the show apartments, due to sign next week for ours on Jardin 8.
Sorted out furniture while we were over but need to find electrian and lights to be fitted.
Who have otheres used to fit their lights??

Hi - If anyone is interested, I am using a chap from Yorkshire called George who lives in Mazarron to do my electrical work. I took the lights I wanted over with me on my last trip and he is wiring them all in on Monday. His tel no is 0034 630 239 523. He is a lovely bloke.

It may be worthwhile checking out the local shops as it's quite common for the price to include delivery and fitting.
They aren't really that expensive either, similar if not cheaper to anything in the UK.

Hi, We bought our lights from Ikea and used George to fit them. He also put up curtain poles, bathroom fittings and a shower screen. He is a lovely bloke and charged us €15 per hour. Bargin !!!

Hi, George came in last week and fitted my blinds for me. Would have done my lights as well if I had had them. Turned up on time and did a very good job. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Sounds like he's a find then. I can't believe it's been easier to find an electrician in another country than to find one here!! I'll keep his number and buy my lights in Ikea when i finally get out there.
