I don't like to correct you, but I believe Polaris have 30 working days to complete the corrections on the snag list, from the day of the 1st appointment.
I snagged myself and I saw several things that I have not heard anybody else mention. Such as the tiles on the steps up to the 2 bed apartments and also the tiles on the steps up onto the roof top terrace of the 2 bed apartments were 'boast'. I noticed about a third of them had a couple of ml. gap and they moved slightly when treading on them.
I also noticed on the top of the pillar between the steps to my roof top terrace and my neighbors steps, where a large wooden beam rests, it was not plastered and painted. It was still red brick,I don't know how that could be missed to be honest.
The other thing was the wooden gate was not lined up properly and the bolt wouldn't lock into the hole as it was at least an inch too low.
The shower head was squirting water when I turned it on.
The skirting below the cupboards in the kitchen were not fitted correctly and there was an inch gap in the corner.
There was a dirty big stain on the paint behind the entrance door. (it looked like a damp patch at first, but I doubt it on the first floor in 35/40'C heat)
There was the usual paint splatters and the drain cover on the terrace was broken.
But I'm glad I did it myself, as I had the chance to eventually see the apartment for myself.
