Hi Folks
Thought I would post my adventure wich went surprisingly well.We went over week past Friday and stayed at La Torre (great resort but a bit of a drive back and forth to Condado).Went to the bank on the Monday to sign the mortgage papers everything fine there,Tuesday went to get NIE numbers again no hitch and on the Wednesday after hearing and meeting some people with the dreaded horror stories ours went through without a hitch (must have stood on something on way out there).
Spent the rest of that week and some of this arranging the furniture air con snagging etc.

Jardin 7 is ideal at moment as backs onto the sports complex and also the all important supermarket and bar/restaurant which will be open in two weeks time.Pool is also full and working with a play area for the kids.
Also met Carol (angelbabe) and her family (lovely lovely lady) who will be doing my keyholding service and know she will be ideal for anyone requiring this service.
Will post some pics of resort if possible as having problem with my SD card hopefully maching at Costco will read this.

Glad you made it home safely, hope you didnt leave that chinese in the microwave  , great to meet you and Bro said to say hello, although hes gone now.

Congratulations on completition and it all when without a hitch. I am also in garden 7 so looking forward to seeing some photo's especially ones of the pool as it was empty when I last saw it. Is all the planting of the trees and shrubs done and did they give us the pink boungavilla near the gate, I think thats the name of the pink flower! Can't wait to go back over as we had so much rain here in Dublin. Did you say that there is a bar opening shortly, is it going to be beside the supermarket?

Yes the pool looks great and the grass is coming on well they have started planting the flowers around the gates.The bar and restaurant will be open in a couple of week and is next to the supermarket had some great photos of this as builder let me in to take some unfortunately on the flight home my camera has been damaged and I thinkj I have lost all my photos cant beleive this.Do have some my inlaws took so will post these if they look okay which were taken before furniture went in as apartment now fully furnished and has air con fitted.

Thats great news, it makes me want to hop on a plane now! Who did you get to do the aircon and did you get 2 or 4 units outside, I have had a few quotes and havent decided as yet.

Am I reading this right?? - a bar at the sports area - if yes hope this stays when the foro opens - great to be able to get a cold beer whilst watching people exercise!!!

Hi Folks
Thought I would let you know that Carrefour delviver white goods etc free of charge and Ikea delivery for a reasonable fee depending on the amount spent (the more you spend the more the deliver is we spent around €2800 and we about €120 for delivery).Condado fall under Zone B with Ikea

congrats on completion, I'm completing end of Oct.
I take it you've got a 3 bed apt. with 4 AIR-CON units inside!!!!
When did you order the units, did you do it before completion?

We ordered the units a couple of months before completion after checking all the different available option and prices and got them installed the day after completion.We went for the Panasonic E-ion with 4 inside units and 2 outside supplied and fitted by Gary at Polaraircostablanca.com they did a great job as Polaris had not completed the pre-install and after alot of trying guys managed to get wires through the walls and out the back for installation would definetely recommend them.
