Was given an update by my lawyer this morning that they expect the Administrators report between the mid to end of September (not sure what year though). 

A report, but perhaps not a decision.

I had an email from my Spanish Lawyer in reply to my question :-

"ABOVE ALL ELSE, WHAT ARE OUR REALSITIC CHANCES OF GETTING ANYTHING BACK ?"

He replied:-

" REALISTIC CHANCES ARE VERY HIGH FOR GETTING, IF NOT ALL, AT LEAST, MOST OF IT BACK.THE ONLY PROBLEM WILL BE HOW LONG ALL THIS TAKES. COULD BE A YEAR."

Me, for one, are now feeling ever so slightly less stressed at this comment, and there is hope after all.

So.....if it takes a year.......at least it's better than being told that there is no hope at all.....surely ??

I'm sorry but, I DON'T WANT MY HOUSE ANYMORE.......THE DREAM HAS BEEN SPOILT.......AND I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO PUT MY FAMILY THROUGH ALL THIS AGAIN.

This echos my feedback although personally i tend to look on the dark side so as not to be dissapointed. Just wondered if you were one of the fortunate few to have a bank guarantee as this should in theory make your chances greater.

 I am also on the dark side I don't want to set myself up for more disappointment.. I am not altogether convinced folk with a BG are any better off .Someone posted an article about banks not paying out on BGs on the general forum it was from El Pais newspaper but I haven't had time to translate it yet .If there is anything interesting I will post as soon as I translate . 
I don't know about anyone else but it is the waiting to hear news that is killing me the thought of all of this going on for another year is killing me . It  is worse when family and friends ask whats happening I cant even be bothered to explain anymore . 
Despite the fact that I  totally disagree with the IWMH brigade I do truly hope we all get a good outcome. cheers JA

No......we don't have a BG, but, as far as I'm aware, they are NOT a guarantee of getting your money back anyway !!

I suggest that those of us who are IWMMB just sit tight, and let the Spanish legal system take its course........let's face it.......there's nothing else we can do about it.

I'm a great believer in fate, and "what will be, will be !"

If it's meant to happen, it will happen, and there's nothing we can do to stop it !

I don't blame anyone for being pessimistic, but, I'm the eternal optimist, which has stood me in good stead in life so far !

Don't want to sound philosophical or anything, just know that our futures in the matter ,are in the laps of the Gods !!

The report is due mid to end September (sorry Steve, being coy), my house was due
Oct 2007, Dec 2007, Jan 2008, Apr 2008, Dec 2008......to quote one of my fav movies:

and at the moment i don't know who or what to believe

believe me  on one thing . with out really good legal representation really forceful in the courts your chances are slim

My thoughts and contributions on other reads have been rubbished by some, but one thing is for certain, I certainly feel for those who have had their dreams shattered and a double hit is losing money.
One thing I would really recommend to anyone is that do not believe what you read in the newpapers and on a forum, unless it is an official statement. It may raise your hopes, just to be let down in a few weeks on.
Remember, it was what some read in those newspaper and magazine ads that encouraged them to take a journey and end up buying.
Many will have their own thoughts and ideas about the outcome, but there are only a few who really know (administrators and financiers).
So, chin up, expect the worst and hopefully you will get something out of it at the end of the day.
