Hi Guys
good to hear all is going well. i'm really excited and not there yet!!
am coming over in November and wondered if anyone could recommend a car hire company for the week to pick up from San Javier airport.
is all insurance included etc.
 keep all the info coming for us that haven't got to live the dream yet

Hi Julie,
We go on to value car rentals, they search for the best deals, we've just booked a citreon berlingo for £101 for 8 days in October with goldcar rentals, insurance included and one extra driver free, they also have their office at the airport. If booking for more than 3 days you will have to pay for a full tank of petrol with a credit card when you arrive.

I was put onto economycarhire.com. Though not yet used them their prices look very good. Again they seem to tender out your business to other car hire companies within the said location.

Hi all,
Have used economy twice now.
Seem to have best prices around and use the companies based in the arrivals hall at San Javier.
Their prices are a lot better than buying direct.
One thing to bear in mind... When you collect your car hire they always try to sell you the extra insurance for windscreen and tyre damage,
Buy this on line and save about 50% and pay in sterling.!!

I am just looking at car hire for our trip in November. The cheapest I have found for us is with Holiday autos, it was cheaper than carjet and economy for my dates,

I use Holiday autos whenever I go to Europe and they are very reliable and one of the cheapest around, I have just booked them again from Alicante airport, the last time I had a car from a company called 'Record' via them, they were based in the terminal.
