Heaven on Earth

Hi All 

I love reading everyone's posts but very rarely write.  I just wanted to let you know how I feel about Roda.  We completed in early 07 on phase 1 and have been out there around 4 times since.  The last time we visited was for three weeks from June to July.  To be honest I was a bit apprehensive about going for so long with just my husband, myself and year old baby.  Thought it might be too long.  However it was not long enough - next summer i'm going for at least a month.   I felt it really was like my piece of heaven on earth.  So calm and peaceful and sooooo relaxing!

I know regards dealing with Roda/Calidona it can be very frustrating. (Despite there being some very nice people working there. In particular Christina).  There biggest problem as a an organisation in my humble opinion is lack of communication.  Amongst themselves but most particularly with their clients!  Being kept up to date on what's happening leads to less stress even if things are delayed.  

But at the end of the day I am absolutely delighted with our purchase and I believe that it does exactly as it said on the tin regarding peacefulness and relaxation.  Of course I will be even more delighted when the hotel and shopping area are completed!

So all you who are worried about their purchase, please take heart.  I think you will be very happy in the end.

Like you we completed in early 2007 and I have to say that we just love it too - you are so right about it being heavenly - the peace and lovely surroundings are just gorgeous and Iagree totally with your comments about it being just the right decision - in the end I think Roda will be the premier resort in the area.  Viva Roda!

I couldn't agree more.  Maybe it would be a good idea to keep this thread going for other positive Roda experiences.  There are stresses and problems associated with buying abroad, particularly in the current climate and people turn to EOS for information and advice to help with those problems.  I wonder if this may project a distorted view that there is no good news around?  Just a thought.

Hi All

Just been to Murcia and stayed on La Manga Club.  It was great.  However it does nothing for me - but Roda does.
What is it about Roda that really is so magical?   I just love it.  Even though I am a phase 4 client I know the wait will be worth it.  In the meantime we will rent on Roda until we eventually 'get our dream'. - which we will!
