Hi Forum

Has anyone completed or checked out blq 25?

I am due to go on site in a couple of weeks to snag and have a "chat" with Interlaken and MLH

I would welcome any info from people who have bought in this block, particulary if they have delayed completion

Many Thanks

David

David

We have been asked to complete on block 26, on 21st Nov and 12 Dec but they have not been ready.

I went to view the appartment in November and there was a large list of snagging. I still don't know if it has been done!

No real effort apears to be made to complete efficiently but be carefull before refusing to accept handover and read the conditions of your contract.

Regards

Hi guys

just back from snaggoing Block 18 apartment and have to say that there were 8 minor snags - re-pointing/grouting, marks on ceiling, dent in wood under sink, dirty toilets, small gaps between vents and wall - got a copy in Spanish ands English and took to my laywer who will complete in January. This completion date means that taxes only kick in next year.

I took photosof outsatnding items. Checked walls worktops etc for level and am happy with the result.

Hi There

Thanks for your info, I was on site last week and generally felt the final finish to the apartment had been rushed. During the snag Int'L agreed to repaint every room, replaster every roon, regrout both bathrooms, replace damaged/holed woodwork, realign door frames, fix window mechanisims, replace cracked tiles, damaged to floor, refit kitchen draws, kick plate, make good outside walls and generally clean the place thoroughly. So nothing too serious but quite a lot to put right and to double check.

My lawyer has held back on completing for the moment, let see whats happens

David
