Hi
Has anyone driven to/from Madrid to Condado? We are out in Madrid next weekend to see the game against Barcelona and my other half can't wait to see our apartment as I finished furnishing it last week while he looked after the kids. We can change our flights no problem to return from Murcia and get the car hire from Madrid and drop off in Murcia but has anyone driven it?
Any advice appreciated.
Joanne

Hi Joanne
Don't know if you're in touch with Carol Miller but last time she came by road from England, she came through Madrid, so she would be happy to help. If you need contact details let me know, or I can ask her on your behalf. June

Hi
We are on Condado at the moment and my Spanish friend visited us last week. He lives in Madrid and it took him 5 hours to get here (but he was at Alhama in 4....he got lost and was expecting big PW signs directing from Murcia onwards).....it took him 4 hours to get home but he planned on avoiding the traffic in Madrid which is particularly bad between 18-20h and with football matches!!!
I stay at a hotel in Madrid (NH Eurobuilding) near the Bernabeu and don't envy you getting out immediately particularly if RM win against Barca...it will be cars going slow, horns beeping...! So it will be 4.5 hours after you're out of the football traffic

Hi
Thanks for your replies. We are staying in Madrid on the Sunday night after the match and are setting off on Monday morning so we will avoid the footy traffic. I thought it would be 5 hours but if it can be done in 4 that would be great.
Thanks again everyone.
Jo

Hi Joanne,
I'm sure you've got enough replies on driving distances and times from madrid, so hopefully you can advise on how
you managed to get your hands on tickets for such a big game next week???!!!
lucky you and enjoy

Hi Anthony,
We have managed to get 2 season tickets from a friend of my Dads in Madrid. The tickets are going for £600 a ticket on seatwave but we got them at face value. Its for my husbands 40th which was last month, as a Leeds fan I thought it would be nice to treat him to a proper game of football! We're hoping its the title decider!

Thanks Joanne, was just curious as me and the kids (not the missus) are all big footie fans and would love to take in
some Spanish footie if we got the chance. I'll probably take them to Murcia or Almeria at some stage, as i really dont fancy
paying 600 a ticket!!
Enjoy the game
Anthony
