So is the list of names people who want to be garden presidents then, so should we put the name of the person in our garden on the proxy form to be president? I am not in garden 11 but for example would that be D Ingham or Alan Milton as suggetsted earlier?
Confused - as usual

Sorry David, just looked at CDA site and it was Alan himself that posted.
Regards Naranjos Terry I think is standing for Naranjos 4 and Mel is standing for Naranjos 8. They are the only ones we are aware of that are resident and showing interest in standing. So 2 down, loads to go, don't forget the penthouses too.

Dan & Cuz
This is explained a bit better in the document from RPM that you posted the link to
http://www.youshare.com/Guest/a612f7a43e7938ed.pdf.html
The presidents of each garden vote for one of themselves to be president of the group of gardens that have been assigned together, sort of a mini community, which is level 2. These presidents that have gone forward will then vote for one of them to become the overall president if the community, Level 1.

All,
Important snippet from the meeting doc.
So, only the level 3 presidents will get a vote on approving the budget and ratifying the administrator. Just to point out now important it is that we vote in a president for EVERY garden.

Hi All
Has anyone seen the posting on is there a spanish EOS it seems there is already a list of proposed presidents for some of the gardens and these are the spanish representatives from the association along with Dave(Dringman) from garden 11,
I do not know what is involved in this president business, but we really do need more english or other nationalities, does anyone know the association views on the upkeep of the developement, apart from lowering the budget, as we have to keep certain standards, and no disrespect to the spanish people ,but cowsheds, washing lines, dogs fouling, additions to properties etc. seem to be on some spanish properties. We really do need some English residents to represent our expectations of the developement (5 star).
I do not mean to offend anyone with my comments, but different nationalities see things differently.

Actually I want Alan Milton (Scottish) to be J11 President and me David Ingman (WELSH) will act on his behalf while he is away by taking proxy votes he and I have and ensuring J11 represented as well as others who give proxy votes.
I believe one garden has already chosen an English speaking and a Spanish speaking representative and I would like to get more feedback from my Spanish speaking neighbours .
Sergio on garden 1 is from South America and has a lot of support from English speakers in his area. J11 has British Danish Norweigan Swedish Irish and Spanish amongst others so we are getting a good mix from all parts of the world . I appreciate input from my neighbours as long as they don't think I work for Polaris and can solve their individual problems. Having met so many people from different countries I realise its the person and not where they come from that matters.

We are more than happy for Spanish representatives , but as the thread ' Is There a Spanish EOS ', states that the representatives that are putting themselves forward , are the association of condado along with yourself, and does not state their views. All we have heard about todate is the lowering of the budgets, and no other views regards upkeep, proposed rules and regulations etc.. We are as keen as anyone to lower the budgets, but not at the expense of the quality of the upkeep the site requires, both now and going forward. Whilst yes I realise it is the person , I feel we do need a more cosmopolitan representation, than the present list is indicating on the aforementioned thread. I also feel that this forum is here to allow you to air your concerns and views in a democratic way ,which is all I am doing.

I look forward to seeing a name on the candidate list for J1 . After the appalling way the last meeting was held with no results we need to get owners running the community as soon as possible 3.5 million euros is a lot of money without control and getting proper drainage installed without us having to pay 100,s of thousands later are the big issues. I beg that other issues are kept back until officials are elected and then we can look at all of these concerns. I understand what you are saying but its important to get this meeting sorted without individuals using it as a forum like last time. So keep it simple and get the main agenda sorted before we get into details .

All,
We require 36 people to step up to the mark as garden presidents, so far, on EOS, we have 6!
For all we know there may well be simular forums in other countries where the Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Norwegain etc are also getting together to put forward thier nominations, we wouldn't know this until it comes to the vote on the day.
So given these limitations, we - the people on this forum, need to come up with a plan and a list of the 36( or more ) people that we will nominate. Given that this is still very early days for CdA, unless you happen to resident in a well propulated garden, the chances are that you will of had limited to no contact with the other owners. Some of you out there are lucky enough to have met fellow gardeners(sic), but personally I don't know anyone else in my garden, in other gradens yes, but not in mine - so who should I vote for? If the members if the association are willing to step forward for thier gardens, I'm happy with that, at least we are aware of them and the work they have been doing. In preferance order I would prefer to vote for 1) Someone I know personally. 2) Someone I have met, and liked. 3) Someone I haven't met but have conversed with, as share common opioions. 4) Someone recommeded by others 5) A complete stranger.
The worse option for me if 5, so if you personnaly know someone in your garden who you trust and is willing to stand, vote for them. Otherwise use your own personal criteria to make a decision. I'm assuming we only get one vote, and cannot vote in each garden election? So save it for your garden.
There's nothing to say that we cannot have more that one nomination per garden and you can give your proxy vote to whoever you want, but I think that's it's important that we ensure we have at least one nomination per garden.
Phil ( standing for Naranjos 1, unless someone else comes forward )

Hi all
I was just wondering are we happy that the new budget will be passed, the outer ring road issue is still not sorted and i see that it is still costing over €108,000 for the cleaning of the penthouse stairwells, it seems to me that there is still a long way to go with the budget before it gets to the level it should be at, and what we were quoted when viewing

Just received paperwork advising me of meeting on 16th May.
We are in Jardines 5 and are unable to get to the meeting.
Are there any EOS embers from Jardine 5 who will be attending the meeting so that I can consider giving a proxy vote? I would obviously need to know their views on the current situation before making any decision.
Also, is anyone aware of possible nominees for the position of President of Jardine 5?
Thanks
MG

HI MG
We are also in Jardin 5,. ptan is correct. there is a spanish gentleman who has either put himself forward or some one else has done it on his behalf.
We are in 488, so not very far from him. Some where between us & Mike & Dawm Hardy we think
We arrive on the 16 th @ 9.30 & aim to get there if time allows
It will be the wait to get our hire car that could pose the problem
I am going to make contact with our key holder to see if she will take our vote ( just in case )
I know that David (Dringman) has offered his services for jardin 11 when the suggested presedent is away & it would be great if some one else from the UK maybe, would offer to do the same..
Having sat on numerous committees in the past , my only concern is if this gentleman has represented people before & how much committee experience he has.
its a pitty we were not arriving a few days prior to the meeting to give us the opportunity to meet Snr Leon
