Oven Shelf (again!)

Help.  I know that it has been done before, but can someone please tell me what the measurements are for the oven shelf?  When we was out at Easter, it became a bit of a pain, and I have just been checking on Amazon at these universal expandable shelves.  Before I buy, ready to take out in August, just wanted to check that the size is compatible with our PW ovens!

sorry didn't actual measure them but betterware have an adjustable oven shelf that I was going to get.  It was cheap about a tenner.  http://www.betterware.co.uk/productdetails.aspx?pid=019592&language=en-GB

I bought the betterware shelf and it works just fine - would recommend it!

Is it just me, or does anyone else find that the oven just doesn't work properly ? Kids wanted some chips, so made sure I bought oven ones, warmed the oven up for 15 mins before putting them in, but after 30 mins, only the ones around the edge were slightly brown. The ones in the middle were still frozen! Apologies if I am just being dumb, but want to know if everyone has the same problem before I think about getting a different one installed!!!

Just to say we bought 2 of the Betterware shelves & their Grillpan - they work fine, so yes go ahead & buy the universal adjustable shelves ( i seem to recall some places do a deal on buying 2).

Carla, are you sure you turned the dial on the oven to the one with 2 lines (top & bottom)?  I only say this as I've done it several times on my oven at home, ie it will only cook from the top & not the bottom & visa versa....  (Hope I don't sound too patronising when saying this )

Not at all. I did try that, but will test it one more time when I am out there next to make sure I am not doing anything wrong!
