M4 POOL

i have attached 3 photos of the pool nearest our house...m4 25.

they were taken today by jose who has done our snag list. he says the pool is superb and as he is living there too, i believe him !

the views are fantastic he says. glad i kept the faith. i thought they may skimp on the communal areas. not so.

he says no progress made on the minor details on his snag list of 2 weeks ago, but that is because they are finishing the communal areas then returning to the properties.

he still estimates beg of july for completion asssuming town hall does not delay the certificate of habitation.

we will do a power of attorney for our solicitor to complete and then go and furnish it hopefully before our august holidays !

in case anyone is interested .....

-shower screen for shower-room and rail for bathroom are not included and jose is getting me a quote.

-radiators are not included and as it will get cold up there we are having them put in by the builders before completion. gema says they cost 1789 euros and we have transferred 50% already nand the rest on completion. there will be one in each room and bathroom and in the halls. (no heated towel rail this is extra)

-aircon not included and the hot and cold aircon costs about 3500 euros. we have paid 50%...rest due on completion.

 just hope the furniture company we booked with are still solvent.

We have purchased on M2 so not expecting to complete before end of September, but it seems that M4 was due in June and now it appears 1 month late, so perhaps this will knock our phase into October, which suits us anyway.

Thanks for the information - we thought the glass shower screens for our 2 bathrooms (1 shower, 1 bath) would be included so thanks for the tip and will have to speak to Gema about that one, as I am guessing this means all houses on all phases cost extra for these things - but the frustrating thing is that they don't list these as 'optional extras' on the pluses azul like they do for the air con/radiators/smooth paint/silver appliances etc which is a bit misleading I think.

The pool area for your phase looks fantastic.

Can I ask how much you have had to pay for the snagging list and I presume they inspect it and you don't have to be there at all for that part, even when they complete the minor defects, right?

Many thanks for keeping us up to date, as we haven't been able to go since April and won't be going now til we complete in October possibly.

since leaving defunct medsea he has set up spanishbest.com with ismael who used to be frondoso site manager.

great combination and they know gema very well.

i have paid jose 250 euros. 150 to tie up completion and attend with our solicitor and 100 to do the snagging.

he attends and does lists and returns until it is satisfactory. in a way medsea going bust has worked out better for us, as jose is more efficient and returns our emails within minutes !

he still estimates july and thinks all will be ours ready for our hols on aug 8th.

we are getting apower of attorney for our solicitor to complete for us and then going out to furnish it...if our company is still in existence !
