By Nuria Pére
THE JUDGE supervising the voluntary suspension of payments of Herrada del Tollo S.L – one of the building companies of Orihuela-based San José group – has returned to work. A spokesman at mercantile court 1 in Alicante said: “The judge was on sick leave but he is back now and the process should not suffer any real delay.”Worried customers who bought properties with the company told CBNews they feared the judge’s illness could cause disruption and said it was unclear when the results of the cr editors’ meeting would be released. Both San José Inversiones and Herrada del Tollo S.L declared voluntary suspension of payments last year leaving hundreds of house buyers fearing for their investments.According to the court spokesman, the process of the voluntary suspension of payments of San José Inversiones is not affected, as it is supervised by mercantile court 2 in Alicante.Property buyers have been placed on a creditors’ list and are waiting to hear if they will have their money refunded.
