On the CDA site they say the pro’s are playing at Condado De Alhama and according to them, it is FABULOUS, (The pros, that is)
The very first recorded footage of golfers on the Condado De Alhama Jack Nicklaus signature golf course will be presented tonight on our LIVE podcast at 9PM local time
I have my first winter league pairs match next week and hope we will be taking a few of the big girls down (I've always been a dreamer)

Press have been playing at Condado today. with some pros who seem to have been invited by the players from their own country.
Seemed mainly scandinavian,german belgian with a little english.
Not everyone was a low handicapper so there are now some balls in the lakes!
I had an offer to use their clubs on the 11th over the lake and it is the first time I wished I wasn't left handed!
Everyone was impressed by the course and rated it better than El Valle which some residents rate as the best Polaris course.
Only negative comment was that the cities are too far away?
I met them later coming out of the new restaurant and they were all very happy!

Just watched the vid, nothing PRO-ffesional about that lot of hackers though, i've seen better swings on the pitch and putt.
Nice to see the course buzzing with buggies though, can't wait to play, think i have still got some old wilson steel core's that will
do the job, failing that 26 quid for two dozen srixon ad333 will be cheaper than tossing a box of pro v1's into the lakes especially if
that wind is howling, my home course beats me up up every week and gotta feelin this one is going to do the same on my
holidays, still it gives me a few hours away from the wife..

Just applied for new discount card and was told I would receive 20% off golf and purchases in golf shop.
I said that I already got 20% off green fees so was this discount on top off that? I was told that residents 20% discount would shortly be removed and you would need the card to get 20% off.
If that is correct PW have pulled another fast one on us.
However, the card does seem to be a good deal if anyone wants more info mail me.

The discount cards are from clubhotel
They cost 145 euro each
they charged us 2 one for me and one for my husband so you have to use them many times before you make any adventage
The discounts are 10% in the home style shop
5% in the supermarket
10% in every polaris bar
10% in golf store

Regarding the issue with residents maybe losing their golf discount don’t worry although I am a resident on Jardine 13 whenever I play the Polaris courses I always book through clubmurcia there are always good deals, you only pay a small deposit and the remainder at the pro shop when you arrive they can also change your booking up to 24hrs before. The deals vary throughout the year. But most importantly it was easy all online and experienced no problems, can recommend
I learnt my lesson when I first played abroad and booked through the club it turned out I paid exactly twice as much than if I had booked on line through an agent.
