You may be aware that currently Roda Resort is setting up an urbanisation Entidad covering all the Town Hall services and security that so far Calidona have been paying.
A meeting to approve a proposed budget of over 1 million euros for 1200 properties and to approve the Entidad as well as elect a board has been called for 21st December as Calidona/Roda are no longer willing to pay for services. Reasonable enough, except the timing of the meeting which has been called with little notice as is the law in Spain, no prior consultation with Owners representatives and no prior information of what proportion will be contributed by existing communities as well as the undeveloped and existing commercial areas.
Needless to say many owners are not happy, more about the lack of communication again as much as the proposed budget.
In response to a complaint to Housing one of the answers was a development does not have to be complete for an Entida to exist and in fact Corvera already has one, which means that owners who have completed will be paying community fees and Entidad fees.
Would it be too rude to ask owners that have completed if this is indeed the case and what these fees add up to?
Thanks in advance
