Inclement Weather

Hi All,

I live in Oxfordshire and the snow has been truly awfull. Many of my friends and nieghbours could not get out to do their shopping and the state of the pavements have been lethal. I have been out and about in my 4x4 shopping for my friends and nieghbours and even towing the odd vehicle on to the road.

How is it for you where you are and how are you coping?

I hope that you are all safe and that you have enough foods etc, that your heating is working.

I live in San Miguel De Salinas and we haven't seen any snow. I too have been out and about but not shopping only delivering water to those friends who are living in a San Jose apartment where the company have cut the mains water pipe denying them a basic human right ie. water. This is a company who allowed purchasers to come out to Spain  having sold everything, on a promise and written contract that they could live in one of their apartments, rent free until their properyty in Jumilla was completed. Less than a month after arriving this so called reputable company went into voluntary administration. After threatening legal action to try and frighten  people to leave these apartments, which failed, they have resorted to cutting the water off  to try and dislodge the residents.

How's it for them where they are and how are they coping?

Yes they have enough food and they are safe and their heating is working. Just NO water.

But what else do you expect from such a crooked shameful company? Trust them NOT A CHANCE!!!!!

Hi All I am in Scotland right now and the weather has been dreadful minus 10  and even minus 18 at points . It has snowed continuously for days but I have still managed to get to patients as and when required  but no 4x4 to help me .Just  "grit " (pardon the pun ) and determination .The local councils have done a remarkable job under the circumstances of keeping the main routes clear so one can get as close as possible then do the last stretch on foot .I must say this is the worst most prolonged and coldest weather I have ever seen .Roll on  summertime  !!!!!!

Dave so sorry to hear the plight of those in need due to SJ's dishonesty and lack of moral fibre just as well they have you to bring water etc . It us unforgivable and from what I hear those on El Pinet are soon to be in deep trouble as well thanks to the honesty and trust they placed in SJ .Shame on them  

Inclement weather.....inclement year

I trust SJ as much as i trust David Cameron!!!!...

I face losing a packet of money through SJ thats true. But..... I have built a succesfull business through a recession, and my family have grown a little more, made me more proud, made me more contented.

My house is a happy one, my mother has gone through open heart surgery this year at age 86 and has come back strong. 

Yorkshire is white at the moment and is bringing me more and more challenges to meet, with the weather, as yorkshire always does!!.  But i meet these challenges like a yorkshireman, like an englishman (and a scotsman laird and MM...but dont think i could do it in a kilt .lol)

Tell the mamby pamby's at San Jose to get a grip and stop cutting water off and ducking and diving their responsibilities......get stuck in and honour their promises, or fold up and give us what they have got left.....we are the deserving, they are the parasites

Well said Briando so nice to have you back on EOS. At last some straight tell it how it is talking .We should have raised a joint action yonks ago and taken them all the way .I have been going it alone for a long time but it would have been much easier on the purse strings and my nerves as a joint action .

The one thing that has angered me more than anything else  through out this whole thing is SJ's "poor us" pathetic refusal to acknowledge or take any responsibility for their part in this situation  .It beggars belief . SARC continuously  reinforce SJ's misguided attitude that they are not to blame and reward it  with blind trust . In all those meeting did SJ ever  apologise or acknowledge what  their part and responsibility in this  is  .Not a cat in hells chance of that  !  SJ's "a big boy did it and ran away " attitude makes me sooooo mad I have steam coming out my ears . So much misery inflicted on so many by so few and SARC backing them all the way .  It  makes me cringe .  MM

It is such a shame when we have 2 people who would rather spend time trying to look clever and make silly remarks which have nothing to do with the thread. What have these posts got to do with the weather & why post? Is it purely to try to obliterate any one elses post , hmmmm one ofthem is not a SADM puchasers and the other has said so many times that she has a BG.

Well I am not impressed and the weather is still bad but at least we know they have not been helping any one.

Ask those nice builders at San Jose to stop this snow and make it better for us.  Then ask them to give me my money back.  Then i promise i will stop being clever, stop hijacking your friendly discussions, and go away.

Any chance of that?..................about a snowballs chance etc etc

And any idea that the money of this company is being kept in its proper slots, site for site, development for development........think again batman, it isnt.
