Bali hai

 Does anyone know when the open air Bali Hai nightclub opens. I'm coming out with five seventeen year olds and thought it would be a good place to let them go. Does anyone else have any other ideas for where they might like?

Nightclubs in Spain are normally knocking shops. Check it out prior to taking them to a nightclub you may get more than you wanted for your money.

Is this the one down Mazarron way?

I have also heard this from various sources so wont be letting my daughter go.

The new tandoori on Campasol,  is the same name and I overheard someone saying that the same guy owns the night club, so you could ask there.

Told that if called a nightclub it is usually a strip joint etc.

Place in Alhama I am told plays English dance music. Friend of ours lives in Totana and he has liked going there.

I think the Bali Hai being referred to is the openair disco just down from Navarros on the road into Puerto de Mazarron. 

I do not think it is a "puti club" but simply a late night openair disco. Never been myself- far too ancient nd decrepid LOL- but vaguely remember an article in Costa Calida Chronicle a couple of years ago recommending the place.

PS Doesn't  the Bali Hai pub on Camposol B have some connection with the disco? May be worth checking there before letting teenagers attend.

 If you google it you will see it is an open air disco, me too is far to old for that but been past it at night and they have all the lights and lazers going. the other night clubs are the ones by motorways, where i am told you can dance allnight for a price,

Bali Hai quite safe, and its a disco. ok for youngsters  but like everywhere else beware of some mainly gypsies or maroccan groups who are known to cause some trouble every now and then

In Spain  "disco / dancings" are what we called night clubs.

Bali Hai not related what so ever with the one in Camposol,

Picked up my nephew one `morning´ 7.00 am. The disco / night club starts around 12.00 at night and goes on till around 7.00 am.

The boys had a good time with no trouble, but beware there is drug dealing going on, I guess like most night clubs in UK.

Bali Hi on Camposol has nothing to do with Bali Hai disco. The Camposol bar Bali Hi is just trying to cash in on the established Bali Hai disco name.

 Is the disco open every night now or just weekends and does anyone have any idea how much entrance is.

The disco Bali  Hai on the way to Mazarron is a respectble place, yes dope is available.

Clubs are not strip joints, they are simply whore houses.

The resturant on Camposol B Bali Hi is in no way connected, the front man there Mr Bali Izbal this is the same man who owns the ex Whore house on B sector ,by the rambler, it was raided by police and closed down. it is now full to the rafters with people from india working in the Bali Hi till they get there work permit,s then they move on to other parts of Spain,

The place seems to have livened up since I was last out there!

Next you will be telling me there are Crack Dens in Bolnuevo and Drive By Shootings on Perchelles Beach!

Drink Drugs and Rock and Roll - Condado needs a disco - try Garden three in the summer - thats where the builders hang out.

those older fogies started the ball rolling in the sixties did they not and now they complain- just growing old and getting grumpy

Although with the wife swapping, knocking shops and availibility of drugs, my next trip to Condado will be like the last days of Rome.

Think I will these amenaties on our doorstep, this could help us rent our properties to the builders if Paramount ever gets started.

When it was first suggested that CdA was going to get a golf clubhouse the rumour became that  the 'new' golf clubhouse was going to be created in two refurbished ground floor apartments of the penthouse block closest to hole 1 of the golf course. I was staying at La Torre at the time and was asked quite seriously if it was true if a nightclub was going to be opened in one of the 'tower blocks' on CdA!! Its so easy to see how a lot can be lost or gained in translation. My father inlaw has also been asked if it is true that as one of the penthouse blocks has no sold apartments (?)  is it true it is to be refurbished into a luxury Aparthotel with Spa by Polaris?

With regard to Bali Hai it is true that there is a difference to what we in the UK accept as a night club to what it is accepted as in Spain. However, it seems more residents use the other forum and I wonder if a query on that site would produce an accurate reply.
