Has anyone taken up Humas discounted offer to take an alternative property to settle Humas debt?
Are the propertys on offer up to the mark and do they represent a genuine discount and to be considered a good buy?

i have been offered a keys ready 2bed2bath penthouse at florida golf/villiamartin full price 130e less the 55e owed 75e, why is this not counted an asset of humas?.

Probably because if you went to an agent selling the propertty and didn't mention you were owed money ny huma and put in an offer of 75,000 euros they would accept it! I think 130,000 euros for a 2 bed appartment on the costa blanca is exceptionally high - 75,000 seams reasonable.

75000€ + expenses (new build approx. 14%) = 85500€ + furnishings/aircon/security/etc. = 100000€ (and will Huma ever finish it?)
2 bed / 2 bath penthouse in VM asking price = 99000€. Knock down to 85000€ + expenses (approx.13% ) = 96000€ max. Plus it will be finished, will be furnished, will be legal, and Huma will still owe you your money.

Have a look at other properties for sale (resales) with estate agents in the area. I think you will find they are way over price. If you are looking at Costa Blanca area have a look at the prices of quads being sold in La Marina - eg look at rthe Barclays website http://www.barclaysproperties.com/quads.php
87,500 euros for a 2 bed semi detached bungalow with communal swiming pool 2 batrooms large roof terrace air conditioning and conservatory. This might not be what you want but it puts the price of a 2 bed appartment into perspective.

we were offerred one of these apartments and I thought the €55K we had paid them would be about right for the apartment. They couldn't understand that they wanted a further €75K - They didn't see the funny side when I said I would have one for the money I have already paid but nothing else.
No sense of humour these agents..........

Ken and Pat make a good point. I bet no matter how much a deposit huma took from someone, it would hhave no bearing on the purchase price of 'the alternative' offer.

has anyone taken up the huma offer of all your deposit back, off the price of a 118.000 2 bed at florida golf in villamartin, mr garcia of huma has told me many people from a.c.c have taken up this offer????????.

On the basis that I DON'T BELIEVE A WORD HUMA say and no one on this forum has said they have taken up the offer I think your answer is that it is a normal lie from HUMA.

A while ago I posted that I had noticed that the Tabernas site was not only being worked on but completed by windows etc going in..Was wondering if you..the people that huma have let down have been contacted as I presume they belong to you all..
Have stopped posting due to there seeming no need for me to post..
Hoping there is some goodnews somewhere for you all.

Haven't walked that way for a while but will try to next week..I am amazed that you have not been asked to view them..As I said the road is still not 'made' and yes that is most unusual. Last time I looked they were even clearing the gardens. Any how if I get time I will take anothe walk on the wild side and take a nose!

Has anyone been in touch with 'Homes from Hell' on ITV yet. People on there have experienced the same 'difficulties' we have had over the years.
If no one objects or it hasn't been tried before I am willing to give it a go.
We have had a court hearing in our favour since May 2010 and still nothing.!!!
We must let Huma know we are not giving up.
