On your last visit did you speak to anyone about completion dates? As you know we were told August and I booked our flights for 4th - 27th Sept. Was I foolish ?  We dont have an agent we bought directly from Taray and have heard nothing yet. 

What do you think?

we have not heard anything about a completion date  may try and find out when we are out in april / may.

we were intending to fly out on the 4th september for 2 weeks on the same assumption but are holding off booking flights. any word on the ramp?

We also have an August completion date but on our last visit it was intimated to us that May is a possibility. Having said that it takes a least a month to complete the paperwork before the keys are handed over. We are actually starting our journey down on the 23rd April and will be renting until the time comes also being in the area means that we can keep an eye on progress. We will have our laptop with with us but the use of it depends on our access to the net . We do have wifi so we are hoping to be able to log on somewhere. While we are out there if I can let you have any info please drop us a email. I know Vncent & Brona are plot 28 don't now the house number) but I do not know Julie's so if you can let us know we will do anything we can while we are there. Regards

We rang Taray offices last week after seeing your photos and they said the work  on the ramp was starting this week,  we shall wait and see!!! anyway we are going over on the 12 May so time will tell.      Thanks for the photos .

I suppose we will still go out in Sept as  we are not taking a 2 week break anywhere this year,so by Sept I will need a holiday badly. ⇒  This is me after tearing my hair out ,I look just like my husband now ,ha ha

Our House 95 calle pedro cano was finished december 06, we are still waiting to sign and  complete,we ring parador every week,and are told the delays are caused by the elections.

How come some have completed  (Yourselves) and others have not.

Hi All

Dont know if your still having trouble completing on your properties but my parents had same trouble they were told property ready in december but didn't complete till end march.

The only way they finally got everything moving was to bypass parador and ring there solicitors direct and once they did this it was a matter of a couple of weeks and they were told they could organise trip to go out and complete. Once solicitors got involved parador changed there tune and arranged the completion.

If your with an agent or not Taray WILL send you a letter telling you when your house is ready.  The problem with getting the letter is, the house may be ready but the paperwork will not be. So dont dash out and get flights, you will be disapointed and it will have cost you money you have tossed down the drain. 

This is the only thing Parador actually got right.  We got our letter in December 06 from Taray saying the property was ready, we did not sign for it until March 07.  The problem being getting all the documents transalted etc etc.

So as they say, take a chill pill and it will come....Eventually....
