we want to retire to spain hence the reason we have bought  this property near the beach and in a beautiful part of spain we were wondering how many people needed there property looking after while it is being rented out or empty during holidays.

please let us know if it is worth our while looking into setting up a small buisness to manage a small amount of properties

i have worked in the building trade all my life and am capable of most small tasks regarding maintaining a property.we would love to retire to spain asap so please let us know if we can be of help to you regards stewart and gerry

There are alot of agencies/one man bands/husband and wife set ups/spanish , english , dutch , german , french , you name the country  already in terreros doing the same thing , Some who are very expensive and some who are fairly reasonable.Some who are jack of all trades and master of none,some who use trade only,some who do what they say and some who say what you want to hear then do a hotch potch job .So if you do as you say, word will get round and you will be fine.

That is a very fair comment Keith.

CDP will require plenty of management facilities,  if a husband and wife team work efficiently on a project together, if they are hard working and reliable I am sure they would succeed.  It would be nice to have a friend/neighbour who would give the job a personal touch.  Someone you could contact at short notice should there be a problem.
