The Courts of Murcia have declared Huma Mediterráneo SL in Administration.
The resolution has been published in the BOE (Official Bulletin) on thursday 25th april 2013.
Creditors do have 1 month to communicate their credits to the Administrators appointed by the Court (Técnicos Concursales Asociados 2012, SLP) on the electronica address concursal@grasesores.net BEFORE 24th MAY 2013
Our advise is to communicate credits as soon as possible and, then:
1) If your contract hasn't been cancelled, sue both Huma and Banco Popular or CAM (which was the banks receiving funds), depending of where you sent the advanced paymentsfunds)
2) If your contract has been cancelled, sue the bank in which you made the advanced payments (CAM or Banco Popular).
Please notice that the COMMUNICATION OF THE CREDITS must be done TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS mentioned, and that any communication to the Courts can be considered void; and that YOU HAVE ONLY ONE MONTH.
Regards

I can't see a lot of advantage in going to the liquidators of human and paying a lawyer another £500. We all know they have no money. One of my old solicitor s said I should pay them the money because I would get a certificate to say I lost the money which I could then offset against my you business profits. This doesn't sound at all right to me - anyone know if there is any truth in this?

First thing is that communicating your credit has no cost. You don't need a solicitor to do it. Just scan your contracts and payment proof and send it by email to the underwritten address, with a brief text explaining how Much Huma owes you and asking your credit plus interests since payments to be included in the creditors list. This is, as i say, important for Any further step And, for money recovery, my advice is to take action against the bank that received your funds

buyers gave huma a deposit plus IVA ( its called VAT in england), for example £30.000 dep plus IVA, the IVA went to the government,we never got the house so we should get our IVA back, if huma have any funds left we get a % in the pound owed, but huma may not of even gave the government the IVA, they may have stolen the lot, the liquidator has to trace were funds have gone, huma have had years to spend/transfer/hide our deposits.........so i dont hold much hope...jack

Thanks Jack ,
I got it now, its all so confusing. We have a solicitor on the case too.he is going for the banks,we havent had to pay out anything so it worth another go,lets hope we get somewher. The only thing is if we get offered anything from the courts do we accept it, or wait to see if we get our money back from the bank..its a gamble but think we cross that bridge when we come to it. Did he say how long it would be befor we find anything out, i no we only have until the 25th to claim.

I didn't bother to count them but my understanding is that if you are a creditor and on the list there is a good chance you will get the Iva back and maybe even a couple of pence in the pound back I don't know if this is true but it is what other people have said and makes sense. I would recommend that everyone checks they are on the creditors list.
