I agree the terifa would have cost me 128.000e plus taxes and costs not far off 150.000e plus the yearly running costs, in hind sight the site is too far from beach and shops bars, a good front line sea view 2 bed in mojacar is only worth 85k and the same thing in vera as low as 65k.........i dont think the tarifa on ACC would even be worth this!!! so my 38k lost could have been a 90.000e loss?????........dont belive huma would have ever built resturants/bars/shops ect it would have been a giant housing estate like mazzeron club...........still hate them and wish all bad luck to them !!!!!!!

I think a tariffa on a completed acc woulf struggle to be worth 40,000 euros. There is a small complex in Palomares - waljing distance from the sea and shops (similar area to acc) where a large townhouse next to the communal pool is up for sale for 56,000 euros and it hasnt sold ! I think 40,000 would be the highest you could expect to get on acc. I have lost 65000 euros to huma - but if they hadnt conned me it would have been over 80000 euros.

Wish I'd known it was that easy to get a refund on the BG, I used a solicitor who relieved me of 1700 Euro's to get the money back and it took about 5 months!! Still, I agree with other comments, my apartment on ACC which would have cost 100K Euros would now be worth 40K tops I reckon so it's been worth losing around 12K Euros on the purchase, doesn't alter the fact that Huma are crooks though and I hope they all come to a painful end.

I think your best chance is to go after the banks as they should have issued BG for the deposits they recieved. I guess something may come out of the creditors list although I think it will only be a fraction of whats owed to people. I think people are still about but only look at these websites occasionally as things move so slowly! Keep on fighting and I'll have my fingers crossed for you. The Spanish property bubble has well and truly burst so maybe it was a good thing that ACC never got built. Let's hope 2014 brings more luck for the so many people ripped off by Spain and it's people!!

We are part of a group of around 8 couples who are talking the bank to court on a no win no fee basis. The first hearing is on 21st Jan 2014 and has taken around 6 months to get to this stage from initiating the claim. Up to now I am quite impressed with the solictors and I just hope they can win the case for us all.
We have no BG and the bank are denying that they promised to give BG's to all buyers, which the solicitors were expecting. At this first hearing they are just looking for witnesses to prove the bank promised to give BG's and arrange the date for the final hearing. We have no witnesses as our solictor and sales reps disappeared not long after the problems started so I am hoping some of the other buyers have some
I will keep you posted

I think we might be part of the 8 but not sure if we made it in time as our solicitor had to get our original papers from the courts from the last time.He seems very good lets hope this is it.
What i dont understand is how can a bank deny giving or promising us a BG when we have proof it was payed into their bank, surley if we had one we would of handed it in and be out of this mess years ago.
What do we need to proove this.

Hi Gazza
Which bank are you taking to court? There are 6 of us (all on ACC) who paid deposits to Banco Popular and between us are owed over half a million euros (including the legal interest). It would be interesting to know if it is the same bank and how you get on. Like you we don't have any bank guarantees.
Cheers

We are also from ACC and paid our money to Banco Popular. Our solicitor is Carlos Baos and up to now I think he has been good and kept us informed of what is going on.
I really do hope he can get everyone's money back, I think this may be our last chance of ever seeing the money again so fingers crossed
If anyone else is in the same group as us have you managed to find a witness as asked by Carlos? I'm afraid we have failed to do this and I'm hoping it won't matter as Carols said he has proof from a Notary that Banco Popular will provide the BG's. It just worries me that the bank have said they didn't think this account was an account for buyers money so didn't provide one.

We also have Carlos,we are happy with him too, he seems to know what he's doing and we trust him unlike other solicitors we have used. Fingers crossed this time .I can't see how the banks can get out of this one, after all they have alot of money, surely they have to justify who and where they got it from, I have said this all along.
Come on 2014 let this be it

Thanks for your responses. We are with Mar in Huercal Overa.
Can you tell me more about the bank saying they didn't know the account was for house purchases and what proof has been asked for? The bank's argument appears flimsy to me as the name on the account is Huma Mediterraneo and the deposits must have ranged form €20K to over €100K. What did they think it was? money laundering of some description?
Cheers

Hi
Interestingly we paid our deposits into Huma's account with Banco Popular but when we threatened Huma with legal action our guarrantee came from bank Inter. They also prevaricated about paying out, but the threat of action against them saw them pay up. I wonder if there was some shuffling of monies around various bank accounts?
Regards
Geoff

Does anyone know what is happening or what has happened with regard to Huma Med and the court case?
Will we get any of our money back?
When will that be?
There seems no information after the list of creditors was published or indeed who is getting what.
Any update welcomed.
Regards to Fellow People Conned
