Madrid - Advice on where to stay

I can't work out the difference. In the plans all the blocks were separate, but now you can't see the join, so to speak!

Also can anyone recommend eateries in Formentera & Rojales? We've already tested out the tapas bar on site and it's really very good and staggering distance, but we'd like to try out some others. We also tried out Benimar -  it's the local little England and you certainly won't need any Spanish to get by.

If anyone knows a good Ferreteria I'd appreciate them sharing it with me. We want to find a good shower cubicle and someone to fit it.

A final comment for those of you who'se apartments may not be entirely complete: we found that in our shower room when we open the door it cracks on the toilet pan. We plan to turn our door around, but if your's hasn't already been fitted, it might be worth asking!

Finally, are we the only people using this forum to be in Block 3 I'm beginning to feel quite lonely!

We were out there 2 weeks ago and the first thing we had to do was go out  and buy some cleaning thing ( mop, bucket .brush  ect ')

Then there is a man name Les he is in block 4 ground floor he is an electrician he was very helpfull

then there is Jim he is in block 3 we told him about the bathroom and what we wanted and he got in touch with a friend that dose all that  we had units, glass round the shower,  everything  very good

By the time we left the place was looking very good

The food is very good in the Casa Carretto - a nice little Spanish restaurant on the roundabout - down the road from Los Palacios - they have a new chef - and the lady speaks fairly good English.

As you drive from Formentera towards Rojales , at the first roundabout, turn left (third exit) and drive to next roundabout, take first exit and you will see the Casa Carretto.

There is a nice english owned one just around the corner from there on the old guardmar road, called viloriens excellent food and great outside dinning area,country setting.    tel 966 712 263 for directions
