sitting indoors enjoy the thunderous downpours here in Ireland. Dreamingly thinking of the nice weather in spain. Can anyone point me in the right direction for contents and buildings insurance?

We got a quote for 172 Euros/Year buildings and contents,We have not took it on yet,most likely will, you don,t know until you try.

We are hoping to get over next month June 18th to sign and complete at long last,be nice to see what it looks like know,last visit was back in september 06. if all goes well we will be back over for 2 week holiday in July.

we are envious of you both and look forward to meeting up with neighbours over the coming months. That seems like a very good quote and i will follow it up. We are still keeping our sights on september for completion so anything earlier will be a bonus. Our house was being paid in early may and just needed internal doors and an oven.

Hi , I took out my buildings and contents insurance through Banco Popular (La Zenia Branch), was very straight forward and cost 149e for 3 bed townhouse,

I'm going over next Saturday for the long weekend.......and cannae wait !!!!!!

Chris & Jim here no. 41 (13) . We are coming over for 5 days on Sunday. We are staying in Los Alcazares and hope to come to the development on Monday or Tuesday. We would love to meet up with any of our neighbours for a chat and any avice you can give us. We are more or less ready to sign and just coming for a look before we do so.

We used a company from Torrevieja   http://www.saltsbay.com/  Patrica Snaps, she was really helpfull.

We paid 154 euros, that was for a 2 bedroom Townhouse, re-build costs of 90.000.00 euros and 10.000.00 euros contents cover, with accidental cover included.

I have seen some of the replies to this thread and my only comment would be make sure you dont either: under Insure or over Insure. your properties 

When we asked about insurance, Patrica asked for a copy of our floor plans, when I asked why? she said she needed to know the build size of the property and then she said she could calculate an accrate quote for me.
