Hola everyone
The water fall was working this weekend,,, now wether they were just testing it, no lo sey. its 10.30.a.m. 27 degs at the moment, so while its cool i will nip up there in about 10 mins, to see how things are doing.
Also the other water features were being cleaned and prepared

They have !!!!!!!! water fall not working it must have been a test , thought it was.

Totally agree !
Priority should be given to the properties - we ended up with quite an extensive snagging list and not confident that anything has yet been rectified.
The waterfalls are purely "decoration" with no functionality so should be further down the priority list. I should imagine folks who have plumbing problems would agree too!!

The staff who have the designated work for the waterfall will be outside workers not second fix apartment tradesmen.

The stage that all apartments are at requires second fix ,it is a building term for internal work,and yes the quality of work at keymare is in comparison in Spain good and supervised ,why else did you buy with them.It certainly was one of my considerations and what I saw on my recent visit was fantastic,it is brilliant now ,but it is going to be wonderful,just hope the community and those who use it and up to the job.It exceeded my expectations in an area that has every-thing ,wide choce of restaurants and something for every-one and it is going to get better,we cannot wait to get back and felt sad to leave ,sure building noise existed and dust ,but that will end and if we make the right decisions at the community meeting it is going to be paradise.

The reason for my comment was due to the fact that I completed 4 months ago and have a snagging list as long as your arm and the Keymare "second fix tradesmen" as you call them have done absolutely nothing. We spent 2 weeks holiday in September without air conditioning and ended up with half the living area wall knocked out. To date this has still not been repaired , despite numerous emails and phone calls.
Yes one of the reasons I bought was the standard of other Keymare developments in the area and the standard of finish in the show apartments. Unfortunately in my case it has not measured up, some of the workmanship particularly in the second bathroom is appalling. I guess you have been lucky with your appartment.

If they have not sorted your problems out by now ,ask for an official complaints form which you fill in and they submit it to the council,that will shake them up,good luck .I understand your feelings,because we are all in this to-gether ,but they have to sort it for you.

Just as an addition to the previous comment, I've given a copy of my snagging list to my solicitor and advised Keymare that I've done this. It should make a difference (I'm told).

I totally agree with Temp1. We bought a Key Mare property as we saw the "good quality" on other developments. Not just our apartment but across the block is a much poorer quality, and we too have a snagging list 3 pages long - including damaged doors and frames - something which can easily be seen as unacceptable. We now understand that Phase 1 had a different builder because their "usual" team was still busy finishing off one of the other developments which probably answers the question.
A little communication would be helpful as to when they plan on doing any of these "second fixes" - we feel that we are being ignored in favour of their rush to get the development finished.
Thanks for the info re complaints form - I'll get one when we are out in a couple of weeks.
