hi folks

has everyone received their invite to the committee meeting on 24/1/08?

It is difficult to delegate my vote to someone else at this time given i have no details about the content of the agenda  for example  what are the proposed pool rules?

what are the other issues?

what will the constitution look like?

Does anyone else have any views on this. Given we will not be in spain on the 24th i would like to delegate my vote to someone who is living there.

It is diasappointing that most owners will probably not be at the meeting on 24th january 2008 as most do not live there permanently.

can someone check out the position with the community satellite dish. I am not getting any signal in my house in Jose Sanchez lozano. Heldger said that it should be on and we should be getting 40 channels with one in english. I have my own satellite receiver which is pre-programmed to pick up a variety of dishes. it made no difference to the signal strength whether i plugged the satellite connector into the wall or held it in my hand.

When will we be getting keys for the post boxes - they are not very secure  can reach in and lift mail out.

If you have not already seen this on another thread here it is agian, this was sent out by the adfnisur people, to me when I had asked certain questions about the committee etc

1. The President is the only compulsory position a community needs and has to be an owner of the community elected by attendants or representatives to the meeting. You could have a vice president to have but it is the community decision, not compulsory. The secretary administrator is not compulsory either. All elected by the community. They are not payable, only the administrator as they are professional and must be register in the legal association.  
2. The community works as a democracy and is based on the Horizontal Property Law.
3. If you cannot attend the meeting you can send a representative who must bring to the meeting a proxy form signed by yourself. It is not compulsory to attend or to send a representative if you cannot come. Minutes of the meeting will be written and translated and sent to everyone.
4. Communities have the Horizontal Property Law. Other internal rules (like swimming-pool rules for example) can be made by owners in a meeting by the community.
