I think we are all becoming more cynical re Huma....perhaps it is 2008 blues and no action!!!
When in Spain talking to people and seeing everything on the ground you can perhaps appreciate the positive side more than when you are sitting infront of a laptop in UK and every so often looking at the rain outside
From your last post it seems that you have only paid the reservation fee of 3005 € [correct me if I am wrong]
For those who have paid the 40% deposit it is all a little more serious!!!
And unless you are prepared to take the risk, then now that 2008 has arrived it is perhaps time to get out if you have any serious doubts or want Spain now
With a slow market it is a good time to buy a legal well located property at a sensible price [there are not a lot of forced sales about as most who want to sell can afford to wait...little like UK now....and they are not easy to find in any case]
And if you go looking now you could be in by Easter
I am going to give it more time; why?........perhaps it is my background in property and I still think that long term I will look back and find that even with all the agro it will turn out a good buy
But everyone has to make their own decision as no one is in the position, as far as I know,to be able to give a professional advice one way or another
The facts are that this part of Spain is marked by the Regional Junta for development and there will be a lot of infrastructure investment and the historical economic progression is that the local economy will benefit and property values.....but this is medium to long term and I suppose does not really help individuals make their mind up
