Does anyone know if its worth investing in a radio, can a decent reception be received and are there any English speaking stations ?

Connect your radio via the FM connection in your apartment.THE RECEPTION IS BRILLIANT.
The largest audience in the area is Spectrum FM on 92.6FM ,we switch it on with our breakfast,whilst we drink our freshly squeezed orange juice on our patio we listen to local news and weather and services and feel the warm sun on our faces and in the back-ground we can hear the sound of the fountains.



Based in Mojácar, Almería.  Cool Fm (English music radio) on 97.3fm. .

also Trust Radio FM ON 89.0 FM

Just one final point and I am probably telling you something that you know,if you want digital radio ,do not buy it in th UK,it will not work in Spain,if you want it buy in when you come over .Although we feel that analogue on Fm is really good.here

Agree - spectrum Fm is great - but the adverts are the funniest things ever - corny beyond belief - but then again I seem to remember them for that so maybe it works  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a small single speaker radio - works fine in apartment......................

I received Spectrum FM via my Laptop,listening to Spanish adverts and descriptions of sunny weather whilst I was home in the UK ,how sad is that?
I suppose I was missing my slice of Paradise.
