cheque bounced higher than a beach ball today,twelve other cheques were issued same date as ours,they bounced too,

sod the bbc,why are we not getting together and sorting this out,is it english stiff upper lip or ignorance,

we are not willing to let them get away with 50,000 euros we have worked for,,,are you?

was the cheque linked to a bank guarantee?

if so, who issued the cheque, i would have thought it would be in the name of the bank, not huma, as it is the bank who has the money.

We are waiting for a court date at the moment we have no bank guarantees which is a worry, but people dont seem to be getting very far even with bank guarantees. Dont no what else to do, What do you suggest? I dont know how these people sleep at night. We would not hand another penny over to HUMA we want a full refund the whole situation has turned us off ever buying abroad again.  We have been left living a small 2 bedroom flat due to the fact of our money being tied up over there. We are willing to go along with any suggestion that would help us get our money back.

just found out today,we too have no bg,,once you sign the pull out paper with huma,bg are cancelled,,thats how it works,but at least we got the cheque,

its ilegal to issue a cheque they cant honour,so next step the nortary,he then acts upon the cheque ,it will cost us but its got to be worth it,

huma have money,its just not in the accounts he issuing cheques for.

i wish i could think of a way we could all get together and make  this right for all of us,spoke to my solicitor today,she had clients in the office today with there useless cheques all in tears,its heartbreaking for everyone.

I watched watchdog on Monday and it makes me sick that they go on about scams on ebay ,saying we can't let  these people get away with it ,the poor girl who lost £99 on her boots ,sorry but I'm loosing 35k why won't  they help me, I nearly phoned them but i was so angry i would of said something i shouldn't ,

 I'm in the  process of looking at anyone else that can help because I cant cope with the fact  what Huma are getting away with ,and why are they are aloud to, and to make it worse is our agents that are selling OCC and supposed to be helping us,say on their site  we give you really good care from the moment you buy until the day you move in ,what a load of C........P  we havent moved in yet so where's our care  they are taking us for a ride with our money ,I'm grinding my teeth now so id better stop , so ill finish on a good note.

 On the Property Dr on one of the sites says .  if you have never been issued a B/G to report the firm to        The Regional Consumer Protection Officer does anyone no about this or tried ,if not its worth ago.

i think we all hoping it all going to work out in the end!! everyone in here should e,mail every english and spanish newspaper,and tv station,someone somewhere will help us.(said with caution),

i had a fantastic e,mail from annie1,what she has planned will hit all the papers,what a brave lady,wish i had her courage,not sure if it will work,but if publicity is all we have left then go for it,

will e,mail bbc watchdog,doubt they will want to know,but worth a try,they want to air stories they can solve.

so tired of the whole thing,wish i could win the the lottery and have the cash to wipe the floor with huma.

Is there not an MP  that we could contact about this . Surely we should be proptected by European Law . Huma are making a mockery of Spanish Law and getting away with it.  Surely this is infringing my Human rights and ristricting my right to live where I want due to being ripped off by these con -men. I personally think we should be boycotting the sales office at OASIS country club and telling people what they are dealing with.  Getting really p****d off now.

We have written to the Spanish department in the Foreign Office, and also to our MEP. On both ocassions we received a reply from a 'desk clerk' who said they could not intervene in a matter of spanish law. It make us wonder what it is exactly that our MEP's do ? We thought that adverse publicity would be damaging but really Huma are so arrogant that they don't  appear to care.

Has anyone just seen the programme on ITV3 tonight about holiday homes from Hell It featured thed couple that had their home demolished in Vera (poor devils)

But at the end of the show it asked for anyone who had bought a holiday home and had been ripped off to e-mail them at homes@itv.com and they would look into investigating your situation .  Might be worth a try if enough of us give it a go.

Yes, saw the programme. I know these programmes are made for 'tv' to portray the very worst, but even so, it was all too close for comfort for many of us involved with ACC. Each case story had a link to what could happen to us. May be remote but has the possibility to happen from poor quality buildings to fires, to earthquakes to flooding.....................

And so the Priors should get 700,000 - hope it's true - even that's not enough to compensate what the Spanish authorities have put them through. But the NEGATIVE publicity Spain has got from it must make them realise it was a mistake they will pay for many years !!

People won't buy there !
