Certificate of habitation question, Alicante

we are in Jardines 10 and due to complete on 1st July.  Anyone else completing in Jardines 10 around this date?

Completing on Jardines 11  ( was 10) 17th June, just been over for visit and did Power of Attorney. Bank finally sorted and approved- leave for them all to sort it out between them.
(Cam Bank  will also need Purchase Agreement copy  and all receipts for previous payments prior to approval  as well as all income proof , NIE numbers and Identification initially requested.

Picked up cheque book-  its a little different filling in a cheque in Spain - will get debit cards shortly.
This now seems a reality having seen show houses and realised the scale of the project. !!!   Being on the end of the gardens really gives good access to everything.  Apartment positioned in centre so view of the  Jardines from patio.

Next step get utilities connected ,air con sorted . lights and fans fitted  curtain poles and  buy furniture, bedding and all the other bits and pieces you need.  Looked at a few shops but will probably end up hiring a van and going to Ikea. Ikea not able to guarantee stock available on day . Anyone know if I can pre order for collection/delivery?
Still considering whether to get some furniture shipped but will need things here for a while longer.

What about buying a car -  thats a whole new ball ball game.

Will it ever be at an end?

I went to Ikea in Murcia on 2nd May and was not at all disappointed. Nice enough furniture as well as all other attributes. And not at all unreasonably priced. A lady informed that stock is large and that items not in stock generally can be provided in max 2 to 3 weeks. Car rental is cheap and I suspect rental too. Ikea in Netherlands has delivery service though. Worth testing, as well as ordering via internet in advance.

I GOT SVERAL PHONE CALLS OVER A 10 DAY PERIOD FORCING ME TO ACCEPT DATE GIVEN, EVEN TRIED TO SAY I WAS COMMITTED TO FAMILY HOLS THAT WEEK BUT THEY SAID I SHOULD DO IT BY POWER OF ATTORNEY AND THAT THEY WERE MY ONLY OPTIONS DATE COULD NOT BE CHANGED, THEN THEY RANG MY SOLICITOR AND SAID THEY HAD NO OTHER AVAILABLE DATES.....WE ARE JARDIN 13.....HAVE YOU CONTACTED THEM TO ASK?  GOOD LUCK

CANT BELIEVE IT, BOOKED FLIGHTS, TIME OFF WORK, ACCOMMODATION AND THEN EMAIL TELLING US THAT COMPLETION DATE HAS BEEN BROUGHT FOWARD AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!! HAVING HEART FAILURE AND PANIC ATTACKS NOW LOL.....ANYWAY HAD A RAMPANT DISCUSSION WITH SOLICITOR BLESS EM MUST AVE THOUGHT I WAS LOSING PLOT....TOLD ME THAT HALF THEIR CLIENTS HAVE HAD SAME EMAIL TODAY AND ALL RANTING.....THEY HAVE TOLD US TO KEEP SAME DATES AND THEY WILL SORT ASAP WITH POLARIS.......IM NOW SITTING LOOKING QUESTIONINGLY UP ABOVE ASKING WHYYYYYYYYYY LOL.....I KNOW ITS ALL SENT TO TRY US AND LIKE SHAMPERS SAID ON ANOTHER THREAD IN 2 YRS TIME WE WILL ALL HAVE FORGOTTON ABOUT THE HASSLE IT TOOK TO GET THERE

Don't worry we are all in the same boat - panic and heart attacks!  We will all get there in the end but in the meantime it seems that all systems go to get things organised.  We still have't got our bank details organised yet which means we can't complete any of the forms Polaris have sent us yet.  Hopefully this will be by the end of the week.
