Get yourself a Cadbury's Caramel, but don't rule it out, lets face it some pools have been cancelled, they have cancelled a town centre, so a move from 72 to 54 isn't out of the question, or more than likely just the one course built for the forseeable future, lets face it the other 2 courses won't be built till they've got planning permission for that side, and lots more fill in buildings on our side 1st to fully utilise that land as well, 10 years b4 the other 2 courses are complete in my opinion, just look at the land space on our side for buildings
''Per Mike's comment, if your in J13 then you could set up a small cafe on your back terrace for those exhausted walking from J1, leaving out a generous supply of leaflets promoting your apartment management service and taxi train for those that the 'beer scooter' has broken down on ..............
Beginning to sound like a holiday camp rather than a 5* luxury resort, but then again with pools disappearing, Foro's disappearing and Bear's Best being changed to a par 54 'Heaton Park' pitch and putt perhaps that's the idea

With regards to moving the Foro Camilla from Polaris was saying that the new Foro site will be bigger and have more facilities than the original. I think other people have commented that restaurants etc are often under used at La Torres so maybe the change has more to do with Polaris wanting the Foro to be lively and busy and so be a place people want to frequent. We saw that at La Manga the shopping areas were very quiet and some many outlets are property mangement business's or gift shops (these aren't open all day everyday) this isnt unpleasant but from a building and staffing point of view maybe centralising everything means an area with more of an upbeat vibe.
All that said we remain disappointed that Jardines wont have its own little centre, it would have been a further thing to entice prospective rentee's.

Not sure of true facts, but I was out there 2 weeks ago looking to buy and the PW Rep was still promoting 3 full 18 hole courses. (2 in final planning phases but not yet approved).
The place looks very impressive and the build quality is very good. Its a shame to hear of the missing pools, smaller than expected rooms, false promises by certain agents of facilities being ready on completion - but having seen the "finished" article, I think you will all be happy in the end.
At least you have a property - I invested back in 2004 and only have a plot of dirt (by another builder) - so look on the bright side and keep your chins up, it aint all that bad!!

I think I'll be delighted when i start using it, I've gone in with my eyes open, knew there would be changes (as there are to UK buiilds as well) as they went along, knew we were in 1st so we'll have a building site around us for a few years, and maybe it will take 10 years to be totally finished.
When it is, and when Corvera airport is opened, and once we've all made lots of new friends who are in it with us then it's going to be fantastic, and i'm just seeing the irritants in a 'manyana' kind of way, in taht yes they are irritating but in 10 years time, will i care or even remember them
Are you getting your deposit back from the other place to use on Condado ?

Thats the idea.
The thing that impressed me with the set up was the fact that even though you will have building work going on around you for 10 years, you will be in your own oasis away from most of the "construction" (okay might hear the odd dropped pallet of bricks).
And like you say, being in first has it's pit falls, but when the releases next year etc start happening, you will be glad you got yours at the price you did. Even though the world property market is slowing down, I think you will find Pw will only be going one way, and it wont be down. Yes it might stall, but as the courses and facilities come online, come 2-3 years I think you will start to see an increase in prices for new plots, thus resales.
sooo jealous.....

Dont get us wrong we remain committed to what we have decided to buy and think along the line it will be well worth it.
Have just had to become aquainted to buying off plan!
However, even with that accepatance I think losing a whole shopping complex is more than most people expect. from the 'off plan' explanation;. But we have to accept and move on, hopefullly the use of the temporary supermarket will be at such levels that Polairs can be persuaded to make it permanent. Afterall- had the original plans shown Foro very near Naranjos I feel many purchasers would have all tried to be nearer that end of the Jardines- because at some point we all need these facilities..
