We have been operating in Cyprus successfully for 5 years, we have just come across this company promising clients 20+ weeks every year, Our clients achieve between 18 and 22 weeks for the season many are on a commitment basis, If this company has such huge promises why dont they commit in the same way James villa , Villa select or similar companies do then at least the client will get a guarantee ??.
If you look at lot closer at this companies activities and behind their website you will find an underlying trend towards timeshare .....

Hi there, I have also been approached by this company (Ready Rentals) and they proposa that they can achieve 150 to 210 days rental per year sourced directly through Tour Operators. i;ve always said "if its too good to be true then it is" but the guy is quite convincing. a number of the earlier posters siad that they have started using this company back in June. What has your experience been? have they generated a large volume of bookings. The sales patter goes like this "we have too many bookings for our current inventory and need new propertis fast.................." Does your experience coincide with this. Would be very grateful for some replys.

Hi everyone,
I'd like to join this discussion if i may.
I was recently approached, just a few days ago, by a very friendly articulate lady.
She was not at all pushy, but the replies seemed too glib for my comfort.
She willingly gave me time to consider their proposition.
I have a 2 bedroom Apt. on the C del S and it has been up and running for 4 years.
So there is much of their offer that I don't need, especially the onsite management.
We already have an excellent company. The lady from RRP said that this was no problem.
They would list our property with 15,000 U.K. Travel Agents plus many other sources.
I asked for recommendations from existing customers, but she wriggled out of that.
She says she will call back next week.
I have good friends in a dozen U.K locations, I've e-mailed her and asked for contact addresses of travel agents in these areas.
In todays rental climate, it does seem like manna from heaven.
But that old adage sticks so tight, 'If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is'
I searched the web hoping to find satisfied customers, I did find good old Eye on Spain and all your comments.
Now I'm more convinced than ever to give it a miss.
Good hunting

Hi All,
This is my first post. I was contacted by ready rental property with the same sort of articulated spiel "we need more properties on the books"
At first glance this seems a good idea, somebody else doing all the leg work for a change. However I am a bit warey about handing over the management for at least a year. When I enquired what their prices for gardening and pool maintenace they could not provide any figures. I was told that the initial cost would be around 1100euros which would be returnable if no bookings were made, but I could expect around 17 weeks of rentals a year but with no promises. I've managed to surpass that figure on my own. What also concerns me is that I can not find any terms and conditions about the contract. Has anyone seen these?
In theory if I signed up, i would be paying 1100 euros and if no bookings started to appear from the partner companies then I would have to find my own. So every booking I make i will also have to pay 5% to ready rentals, also have to pay the maint fees and they would keep the 1100E as I have taken bookings. therefor they get money for doing nothing.
This is just my take on the situation and I would love to be proved wrong and hear from anyone who is using them and is seeing good returns. Apparently they are partners with the onholidaygroup, who also ask for rentals so it might be worth speaking direct to them.

Hi
Like everybody else here I too have just been contacted by Readyrentals and again initial due diligence search via internet brought me to this web site....Hmm!
I indicated a strong interest after 3 sepereated chats and recieved a follow up call within 5 minutes of advising that i needed more time to consider it>>> Guess they had a VERY SPECIAL OFFER JUST FOR ME!
I indicated that i had a management agent and fully paid till march 2009. And so they said....
"Well we have just had some bookings in and we have two weeks which we will give you now if you book with us this evening (5PM gmt)"
The dates they gave me clashed with my bookings and I advised that I could not fulfill it....GUESS WHAT....NICE LADY SIAD SHE WOULD SPEAK TO MANAGER and within 1 minute they had another booking with dates I had available"
That was just too sweet for me! I declined
Also they say that they will only market a defined number of properties within an area and Its LImited to 2000 in all of spain, so its important to get in now!
Seems that if a product is good enough this type of incentive would not be needed.
Good concept....I'll let somebody else be the guniepig!
Would like to hear from other who had a positive experience and actually GOT MONEY IN THEIR BANK ACCOUNT for the booking.
Bookings are fine but they need to be paid for....Those taht got bookings did you get your money?

Hi everyone,
Since my last post I have been contacted twice more by phone.
Susan is very convincing, and she has sent me their Terms & Conditions
Which I have not yet had time to read.
When I asked her for a few addresses of Travel Agents, she was unable to help me.
She said that there are 15,00 of them in U.K. and that they don't deal direct but through a Holiday Company.
This company also appears to be legitimate and it's called Onholidaygroup
She then sent me a few listings from various holiday companies promoting their Apts & Villas.
They just have a heading 'RRP' to indicate that that particular property is supplied by Ready Rental Properties.
She has not been in the least bit pushy and I told her candidly what my fears were.
She said that she understood and would leave me to think about it.
I have been on a number of Forums with threads much like this one.
I told her that too, in an effort to shake her cool, but she was very understanding.
I explained that rentals were down considerably on the Costas due to the economic climate.
She replied that Tourism in Spain had not fallen, only Owner Websites were taking a hit.
A recent TV program highlighted the advantages of booking with a company registered with ABTA.
Therefore Travel Companies are not experiencing a drop in trade to Spain.
All very convincing.........
BUT...they have not asked to see my apt. yet. I presumed that they wanted me to pay up front.
But my place might be the pits, they don't know what it is or where it is.
Before we invested 4 years ago we did rent apts. via well known travel companies, whilst we searched.
I cannot say that I was impressed with any of them, some were old and in need of refurbishment.
Some were tiny and ill equipped. None had onsite reps. to contact in case of problems.
I just think that a genuine company would have staff on the ground investigating suitable properties before they make an approach.
Lord knows there are enough properties out there looking for trade.
So I'm still sitting comfortably on the fence...for the time being, as it is a very interesting proposition. (I think)

This is my first post. Kevin from Ready Rentals has contacted me tirelessly over the past few weeks, claiming that they have live access to 15000 travel agents, and that all tourists are after ABTA bonded holidays. The are based in Fuengirola. He wanted to charge me 900 euros for property management & letting advertising in said travel agents. He pointed out the co-op web site that featured properties by them. I said that I wasn't interested in changing my property management team, but was interested in advertising. He came back with a price that included 'key lounges' which was 870 euros (only 30 euros cheaper than with property management) which started the alarm bells ringing. I asked to speak to someone who had taken up this offer, but was told that I couldn't. He told me that the property management option came with a money back guarantee. I told him that this was too expensive for something that wasn't guaranteed or had a track record, & could he do a cut price first deal to prove the figures then I'd be happy to pay full price for year 2 etc. He refused, but kept adding that we were sure to get between 100-150 nights in the first year, increasing over the next 2 years, & quoted massive rates of return. I was interested if only to see if what they said was true, but didn't want to part with the best part of 1000 euros to find out. I have no idea how he knows what quality our apartment is as he's not seen a picture or the apartment, he kept refering to the apartment being in Andalucia, when its in Elviria, which made me think he was working from little knowledge.
I have no idea how the process for getting your cash works either. I declined their kind offer. I'd love to hear anyone who has gone with them & got bookings.

Hi Brizo,
Thank you for the post. It seems like a lot of people have been sitting on the fence with ready rentals, myself included. Think you are right to chase them up and look at what get out clause you have to ending the contract. I will stick with owners direct and holiday lettings which has done pretty good for me.
I hope it works out for you. Keep us posted

Thank you Brizo, for being the one who dared.
My condolences for your loss.
Susan hasn't been back to me since I told her that the consensus of opinion on various Forums, is to decline.
It says a lot that they didn't find you any clients in the past 3 months, which is the busy summer season.
My very best wishes for a successful season next year.
And I do hope that you get your money back from Ready Rentals.
Cheers

funnily enough just received another call from ready rentals and told them I'm not interested. Don't think he liked it and started quoting about XL and credit crunch. spoke to a friend who works in travel agency and holidays are up 18%

Ready Rentals seem to have aquired a database from another company and they are e-mailing the Instant Access Property clients as they were claiming at one time to be there preferred rental partner
They started to be active in The Costa Blanca Murcia region but have now disapeared and I have been unable to find an office or contact in this area, any properties they manage or even any refferecable satisfied clients
They were fitting a keypad entry box outside the properties in which keys were stored
You can actually see their terms and conditions by using this link http://www.readyrentalproperty.com/Terms.pdf
They claim to offer a snagging as part of the service so I asked to speak to that department, not available. So I asked for details of the contract, a sample report and terms of reference for what was checked, and none of this information was available. What were the qualifications of the inspectors, didn´t know, and finally which developers had they worked with and how many visits would I get and again they didn´t know
Checking the domain they only registered it in June 2007 and a link to another site http://androsmedia.com with a London address and a company name of Ready Rental Properties Ltd but there is no listing at Companies House but they list in Spain as an SL company
In defence there is one comment on another site where an owner claims to use them successfully but it is the only one i can find
Most local clients that I have spoken to on San Jose developments seem unhappy, no real rentals to date

Did they promise you two rentals as part of the deal?
I've had them on the phone for my property in Cyprus and their sales patter sounds brill. The two rentals they promised me were out of season so even that sounded great. I was very interested in the £700 package as i have my own cleaners out there and the two renatls they promised would cover the £700 lay out.
I was ready to part with my cash until I read yr comments. now im so unsure.
Could you tell me if anything else has happened or did they make promises for bookings..
Hope you get ur cash back
all the best
