Just returned from "signing" for our property on 1 August Jardine 5.
I have up loaded photographs of the Jardine for any fellow homeowners.
After the concerns about a missing pool we are now relieved to have been out there and actually viewed what we are getting. Yes we were disappointed that the original 2nd pool is missing but quite relieved of the sense of space that there is in the garden. The pool is the same size as the other jardines but there is an immense amount of green area which you would like to think will be quiet and it also means with the size of the garden that the people opposite are a reasonable distance away. I am looking at the positives anyway!
We were due to snag at 12 Noon on 31 July. We arrived on-site after eventually finding the right portocabin to meet for our appointment to be told it had been cancelled! The habitation certificate was not ready so we couldn't complete the next day. After kicking up a little for not being told about the cancellation we managed to snag, although a builders clean had not been carried out, we did what we had to do.
Needless to say everything was then cancelled for our completion on the 1 August and we gave Power of Attorney to the solicitor to complete over the next couple of weeks.
So no keys as yet, but hopefully in around 10 days.
The site is looking really good and yet more progress has been made since our last visit only about 6 weeks ago.
Can't wait to get our beds in and start enjoying it!

Sorry your completion didnt go to plan but glad you are pleased with what you saw, it really is looking great. I am sure that once Hab Cert is ready you will be well on your way. Good luck with everything and hope to cath up with you both on your next visit

Thank you for your good wishes.
We will be out over the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August, it would be good to meet up if you are about and have time in your hectic social calendar that seems to be building every day on the forum!
We will be in touch nearer the time to try and organise a convenient date to meet.

The Plan is...... To get into Murcia as soon as poss and get myself a ' Dongle ' and if that fails will be camping out at ' Camposol ' lol I have been told there is a int cafe there. I cant live without access to EOS or MSN I will do the 'Singapore Map Dance ' ( throw a strop)

Hi Lindsey,
Sorry to here you didn't complete - it's our turn to try on Thursday.
Just had an email off our solicitor to say that the land registry have registered our property at 150.75m2 (if only!!)
We said the same about Jardin 5. Its unfortunate about the missing pool, but on the whole it's looking good - there's a great feeling of space.

Must admit there is a lot of grass! As long as it is looked after I think it will be good, we looked at a couple of other gardens, and Jardine 5 definitely gives the feeling of space. Perhaps we need to get some goats............

Just to let you know that we completed today on Jardin 5.
Rather a painless process - took 1 1/2 hours from start to finish.
Going over to site tomorrow to measure up - can't wait to see it again.

That's not fair!!!!!!!
We hope to complete next week now by POA.
We have booked flights to go back out over the bank holiday weekend and to actually buy/order all the stuff that we have been looking at over the last few months!
Wave at our apartment when you see it tomorrow.

Congrats Mike & Dawn!!
Its a great feeling isn't it??!! It was good to meet you! Say hi to our place tomorrow, i miss it already!
Just to let everyone know, we completed last Thursday and all went smoothly at the notary!
We have had air con fitted via Polar air who had it all done in half a day! Very impressed! We have also ordered our lights via Ilucom which get fitted in September due to his holidays and being so busy!
We went to many places while out there - Ikea, Leroy Merlin, Dos Mares in San Javier, Eroski, DFS, PW homestyle and lots others, we never stopped!
The resort is going to be amazing, it is sooo huge! I think the golf course will look great once green! Everything is coming on really well!
Can't wait to get out again at the end of the year and furnish it!!
