We haven't ordered anything yet - we know someone who is wanting to start a business buying furniture for people in Spain.  He will be ordering the large items for us when he comes out in August. 

We will sort the rest when we come out in October and November - saw some really good things in Ikea last week.

From what I see you are the first geordies to complete, beat us by 3 days (we complete POA 8/8/08).
We are awaiting report from Snagitmurcia, but have heard only minor problems to finish off.
We are over for 2 weeks beginning Oct to get basic furnishings ready for 7 week sabatical Feb / March 09 when we will furnish completely.

Myself and Kim are playing golf at Bishop Auckland on Bank Hol Monday and if you have time would love to meet up while in the area for a quick chat. Let me know.

Pleased you are happy with everything - good to hear that the resort is looking fab!  We were last out there at beginning of June and are going out again on 16th August - expecting to see lots of changes just in a couple of months.

Are there many more completions to take place in the Jardines?  I thought most of them were scheduled for June, July and August?

I think there is still quite a few to be done. When we where there we were surprised to see so many Jardine apartments still looking unfinished (wrapping covers still on window frames - nothing major!) But still, we expected all building work on jardines to be done now!

From what i gather from PW the Foro has been dug out and then the Oasis will be started once Foro is completed and when all units on Oasis are sold. I was told the Oasis will be built in phases and doing a phase a year - i think!  You know what its like when things are misinterpreted though!!

I was still told golf course will be green in May 09 and playable in the summer of 09 but we shall see!

Just can't wait to get back out there!!

I thought there was no Foro now, why are they digging out? Are they putting the missing pool from the Jardines there? Just a thought!!

Lisa,The Foro is still called the Foro although its moved 1.4 Kms to the new location. They have flattened the site but no building work has started.

Davall, looking forward to meeting you, will send you details later on when we get home. It will be good to meet more new faces. Less of the geordies though, red & white through and through.

You've got a good memory.  We were briefly in Jardin 4 a couple of years ago - until we realised that our agents had messed up and bought us a 3 bedroom apartment instead of a 2 bedroom.

Mike, glad to hear you have completed.  I guess you decided to stick with the apartment and not change to one with the pergola at the front!  Good luck with all the furniture shopping, it´s a killer!

We´re around until Sunday 10th, J350, if you need a break from measuring up etc. Beer´s in the fridge already.

Hi Tim,

Yes we did decide to complete with the pergola in the wrong position.

The apartment is in a perfect location, but now we've been up there today measuring up, we've decided with the pergola being at the back, a high wall at the front, it would be ideal for a hot tub.

Would've loved to meet up but can't unfortunately.  We've just returned back from Condado today and we go home tomorrow morning. Shame we didn't get the message earlier - so will have to make it another time.

Out October and November if that any good.
