Hi to all,
Reading this post confirms my worries.
As you may have heard, another company recently went into administration, RIVIERA COAST INVEST.
The directors were arrested last Thursday night in the Alicante Airport, on a private jet plane, ready to go to Morocco with cash and a Lawyer on board (as informed by local newspapers).
They were under investigation by the Audiencia Nacional (Main Criminal Court in Madrid) for a fraud of 60 million. Now they are behind bars, waiting for a Court decision about them being released or charged.
As you can all see, this issues are getting serious and worrying, although I hope this is not the case with San Jose.
Time will tell us.
Regards to all.

Abolex if this happens ie bankruptcy or Criminal proceedings against San Jose where does that leave people with a BG and for that matter those without .Unfortunately I think there may be more of them. Would there be any point in continuing with legal challenges? or should we all cut our losses and give up. JA

Hi everyone
We have just returned from 10 days in the UK, so bought the local paper to catch up with the news. Towards the back of the paper, there is a lovely full page advert for Residencial El Pinet, with a telephone number if you would like "mas informacion" from San Jose Inversiones. Would anybody like the number?

I am well and truly gob smacked .What the hell is going on with this bunch of cowboys.Do they think they are above all law Spanish ,European,Human rights the lot. They are sitting on or have wasted hundreds of thousands of our Euros and have given us nothing in return but heartache and misery and cost us even more hard earned cash on legal costs. Yet they seem to think it is perfectly OK to drag yet more into this infernal mess.It beggars belief .What are the authorities doing and to hell with the Spanish banks as well.
F them I don't care what it costs me I am rolling out the big guns for these guys for their pure cheek.Come ahead punks make my day !!!!!!!!!

Yes it has the go a head as far as the legal fight with the environmental groups legal objections etc are concerned and that was good news at the time .However it fails to be good news anymore as SJ can not refinance and dont have the money to restart the build or complete the development. As I have said before My house is 75% complete and has been sitting for over four years with exposed brick work exposed electrics and half the windows in and the other half open and exposed to the elements .I don't even think it is water tight at roof level .I don't know much about building but my guess is this is not good news for any structure in any climate .I have also spent holidays in SJ properties that are 3yrs plus old and have lost faith in the quality of the build ( I noticed a lot of problems with the properties ) as it is, never mind the situation my property has been left in .Structural guarentee or not I'm just not keen anymore .It has been too long no matter how much I loved the area. JA
Ps it was not the judge dealing with thae admin that said it could go a head .This was a decision by another judge pre administration. Just to clarify . This message was last edited by julie anne on 9/15/2008.

I have a friend who had an appt built by SJ "completed" a couple of years ago, she is currently staying there until mid-October. I had an e-mail from her this am and i thought this may interest you.
................."Our flat is finished fine but we have half built places around us. 2 Spanish neighbours and one english are going to meet the administrators tomorrow evening to find out where we stand. They are asking for 120 euros per month for water & electric & threatening to cut us off if not paid, as you can imagine there are a lot of angry residents here and a crowd gathered last Friday to tell San Jose's daughter what they thought of her. Some people in large houses with gardens would be paying same as us staying for few weeks in summer in apartment, all crazy & very Spanish. Can´t get certs of habitation until roads etc finished, all half done"
