This no scam the people selling are NON Spanish. I would be the first in line if it had happened 12 months ago before I took out a mortgage I neither want nor would have needed had I not given my hard earned to the crooks

Be careful. Mr Maher could probably stitch you up like a kipper if he is the London based one.

Remember that sometimes it is not worth offering words of warning as many will not like it.
Remember, there was a time when many, many believed the original developers were wonderful and when some questioned, were blasted in return.
Remember the time when the developer claimed that consent had been granted and when it was suggested that people talk to the Town Hall and ask for confirmation, the result was a blasting.
Many will have lost money and some will lose more, unless careful.

Many thanks for your words of caution and I understand where your coming from but to post I quote "Mr Maher could probably stitch you up like a kipper if he is the London based one." when you don't even know him is a bit much, but for your information no he's not London based. He is the racing horse trainer who's son rides for the Great Britain Olympic team.
As far as whats on offer being cosher I can only say come out and have a look, speak to the owners that have/are in the process of transferring their debt and confirm if or if not everything is legal and above board.
I can assure you that having been stitched up, lied to, and blantantly robbed by San Jose and Ambasun as have many of you, I would not associate myself with anything that wasn't 100% legal. If We hadn't already purchased another property we would have definately taken advantage of this and secured not only a key ready property that is fully legal but also secured part of the money I've already paid out to San Jose.

Surely, it is only when the deals are done 100%, all documentation is in place and legal and all services and supplies are signed off, can people be certain.
How many are you saying are in that position and are able to offer assurances?
Quite likely nothing wrong with this company, so why not just post the details of the company, so if anyone on here is interested, they can start doing their homework.
If you are concerned about losing oout on your %, you must be able to come to some agreement with the company, especially if they are reputable?
Don't know why being the father of a GB team member should give any security to someone about to part with large sums of money.
There is one world know sport personality whose father, unfortunately, served quite a long prison sentence.

So, you would be prepared to underwrite and shortfall for anyone you introduce, by putting and equal amount on deposit, or offering a performance bond?
It seems that you would be happy to get all to sign to this company, yet not details have been offered.
SARC would also like all to sign to the existing developer with anything that they offer!!!!

here is a little senario just to make you stop and think.
Abusiness man purchases several proprties off plan 7 years ago they are delayed by 3 years for completion but he held out. He now offers any one with deposits on SADM to take these off you for deposits on his original properties. Good news for some ? but what does he hope to gain
He gains the rights to purchase at SADM which you relinquish why would he do this if it is a dead duck.
now ask your self this is he an idiot or is he a shrewd business man
I wouls say shrewd business man

Mr Maher is in deed a dragon and he wants OUT all he is doing is inflating the market value of the property to the tune of your deposit so you feeel better about losing your money .He loses nothing and of loads a lot of propertyies that would be very hard to sell to punters with cash and nothing tied up in this deposit mess ,
He is indeed shrewd but as for your pea brained theory that he is going to snap up properties on SADM I think not he is a dragon and wants OUT not back in on a SADM (The white elephant ) .Brianmags you are silly .I suggest you read the recent news articles so you can join in properly with out talking nonsense .regards MM

You off course will always cotradict what ever I said so what! and as for your Cut and Paste what if there are typos you obviously understood it enough to make a comment. but why would anyone throw their money away as you always say SADM is a dead duck maybe you should ask him as you are such an astute business man yourself with all the usefull knowledge that you share with us all. I draw my own conclusions as to his reason for purchasing people deposits.

As car dealers have done for years, but some are too stupid to realise.
A little story of fact. Man goes to a car showroom and has a trade in. He tells that the best offer he has received is £X and is asked how much he expects. He says £Y. Salesman sells him a motor, allowing him £Y trade-in. If £X for trade-in had been acceptable, the price paid would have been £Y-£X lower.
Man now boasts how he caught the dealer.

Brianmags can you not think for yourself ,he is not purchasing peoples deposit .He is just over inflating the price of the properties and making it seem like he is giving you a discount ,now this is the hard bit Brian ,He is not giving you anything .doh !!!!!!!

So maybe my senario is not that stupid as you sugested previously what if I am right he now has those options to purhase at SADM if he believes that it will continue then he makes even more money in the long run remeber he has waited 7 years on his Play golf properties.

So in the event of legal action, what Courts would hear any claim against the Company, Spanish or English?

Forgive me posting on this thread but I own an Azucena at Playa Golf (and was taken for a ride by Smart Investors in the process). Having moved here a year ago I have taken an interest in all that goes on with San Jose so I read the threads avidly. I am also now an estate agent and, despite an internet search, cannot find the properties which are being discussed.
Why not publish the full details and people can then compare with the properties on the OPEN market and judge for themselves?

Dispose of cash that smacks of a tax problem. I am a self made suspicious person now. If all of the properties Mr Maher acquired get sold who knows someone may be able to get a free property built by San Jose with maybe the odd cup of coffee and bun thrown in.
