Hullo young Bob,

I've done as yer said, and have now got me own spot! But I do have me serious side too so listerners shouldnt just expect hours of merriment and fun when they tune-in and ,like t'others, I'm waiting for young Julies important news.

In fact I'm shaking with excitment, or is it the drink?

Hi Twigit.

Thanks for the YOUNG bit by the way. Dont worry mate you wont be on this thread all alone, its much more favourable than the other threads which want my house or want my money back, when in fact neither is very likely to happen. Maybe a little money back over a few years  if we are lucky, but certainly NO house thats for sure.

For gods sake, They are in administration with little money, The housing market all over the world is in trouble because of the credit crunch and Spain is in double trouble because of the massive over build in the last ten years and Spains housing market is in meltdown. There are very few buyers looking to buy in spain [look at how many real estates are closing down] and those that are buying are buying at ridiculously low prices. I have never posted like this before as i have always tried to be positive but even people with bank guarantees are struggling to get their money back.

Sorry Tony and sarc but it is just not going to happen and even if it did, so many people are pulling out that they have no chance of selling all those spare houses, especially at the sort of ridiculous prices that they want. If you think that they can afford to keep to the prices of 4 years ago which are now being beaten [just] by todays prices then you are having a laugh.

By all means Julie post your very important information but dont expect me to get over excited.

                    Bob.

P.S. Even if SADM went ahead dont expect ANY bank to give a bank guarantee the second time around. Once bitten, twice shy.

At least those on El Pinet will get there houses and the development infrastructure finished ,even if scaled down a bit .I don't think despite recent postings it will be the same for SADM .

JA......as you say

There is probably a brighter Christmas coming up for the purchasers at El Pinet, and the depositors on the San Jose side of the administration can also be a bit brighter about things.

The options for myself seem now to include a possibility of either a property or a refund, BG or not............at least in principle.

This news dosnt include the HdT administration or SADM though and it needs to be said, just in case its thought to be a sign that HdT will have a similar outcome.

Be carefull and challenge everything..be safe not sorry and .......get the facts.......

Hi Twigit

John and I are back in Jumilla, and wondering which Pedro's bar you frequent?  We know of several - plus Paco's and Pepe's - so though we would like to meet up for a cafe solo or vino tinto it would help to know exactly where we are likely to bump into you.  (Hopefully not literally.)

Also, do you have any identifying features? We would offer to carry a copy of "The Times", but Papiros only sell Spanish papers, and the shop down the road just has the Daily Mail and Costa Blanca News.  Would they do?

Hope the font is OK for your failing eyesight.  Now it is time for all ...........

TTFN

Sue

Hullo Sue me dear,
How do yer recognise ole twigit? It’s easy, I lost me leg in the “first lot” and now walk with a pronounced limp owing to an ill fitting wooden leg an I also wear a patch over me right eye and of course I never go anywhere without me Para’s beret.
Which bar do I use? Well we really don’t want any more Brits in ere, so Pedro’s asked me to keep schtum but, being as it's yerself an John, I’ll ave a word with El Senor Pedro an see if I can change his mind!

I've got to say thou, that I think he’s got..........

Hola Twigit

Unfortunately we have seen several people in Jumilla answering to your description, so it may be hard to identify you.

Just had a thought - I don't know if the owner of La Macarena is called Pedro, but we have been in there several times, and have spotted someone in there who might be you?  If so, we shouldn't have any problem in meeting up.

Sue (known locally as Su-eh)

PS John is the one in shorts and orange t-shirt

Buenas Twigit

John and I were in Pedro's bar last night (the one near us) having vino and tapas, but didn't see you there.  Unless you were in disguise, and left your eye patch and beret in your casa?  Now we are going to see ............

Hi all.

It has been an absolutely glorious day here in the  La Zenia area of Spain, very, very, warm indeed and the shorts went back on today in December. Great. Even when you have to wear track-suit bottoms and a fleece, the sky is often blue and the sun often shines, it is so much more refreashing and really great for the moral.

So while i am in a good mood and life seems good may i take this opportunity to wish ALL of our friends, acquaintancies, and even strangers, a very merry christmas and a happy new year, and we wish everything for you that you wish for yourselves.

May it happen.                         Kindest thoughts and regards.      Bob  and  Pauline.
