I thought I'd read some of this information before  so now know where I'd seen it. It doesnt really cover a one off complaint does it?  Would it just be that as a result of the Security being called on the 'ladies' occasion a report would go to the administrators and then the Garden President might be asked to address this. I'm not suggesting that this incident has to be addressed and it is a while ago now but would that generally be the procedure. Phil's info seems to require a specific complaint from a unit owner or occupant otherwise.

I think your query is covered in Mick post below.  The first port of call should be security who will deal with the matter, either directly or by calling the local police if necessary, and then feedback to the administrators/presidents.   The legal route would be for persistant offenders.

I know I have asked you something like this before but, if someone was acting in an unaceptable manner in your garden,  would you call the main security or the mobile one?

Also, wouldn't the case of the kids getting served and walking off with pints of ale be out of our hands?  They are getting served in a PW owned bar.  So much for the drinks being too expensive

Jann refers to a "one off  complaint" how does one know when a problem is a one off! the noisy neighbour may have a party once so you ignore it, then they assume all is well so party every week!

I think eveyone has to look at each case as an individual problem and assess the situation, for instance lilos in a pool whilst in breech of pool rules are not necessarilly harming where as Wine Glasses could cause closer of a pool, also noise carries in these gardens the less people are in them the more it carries so people talking late is not really a problem but very loud music in the middle of nights is.

If something is happening that annoys you then you have a right to complain the trick is how you complain sometimes a friendly word is all that is required other times it is best to avoid confrontation especially againt people under the influence as this more often than not agrevates the situation. 

In all cases that warrent it Security should be contacted and it does not matter which number, and a report made, if it is Urgent then say urgent or emergency first to get their attention.

If we all report all valid cases of Vandalism, Theft and Nuisance then a pattern can be created and persistant offenders noted on file and relevant action taken if and when required.

For the party goers if you invite the whole garden and adjacent gardens then nobody can complain? for added protection invite the Presidents.

The real trick is we must all learn to live in close quarters and enjoy life to the full but not annoy anyone in the process, so a bit of give and take and an understanding of different cultures does not go amiss.

We pay security a lot of money to protect us so if you need them call them.

I think I was just being cautious talking about a one off complaint. When ever this type of subject is raised there's usually a wave of posters stating that this is a holiday resort and therefore intimating we should all be totally relaxed about any 'rules'. I think most people will happily accept that people are on a break and want to relax but sometimes things might become extreme - as in the 'ladies' case. I also agree that if something isnt addressed then people will assume its fine and the problem then is getting back to the way things should be.

I think  I understand where Jann was coming from here as she (sorry if Jann is he) seemed to me to be referring to this as a one off (ladies) incident. I think most people dont know who to complain to and RPM and most (not all, Sonatigh) Jardin Presidents dont promote what can be done. I didnt know there had been a theft and in the great scheme of things CdA is just experiencing everything a new development experiences when the security is woefully lax. Hopefully they will very very soon tighten everything up- no reason not to and it wouldnt be difficult. Once they opened this resort up to being a residential complex it was bound to have other problems that come from being a residential development rather than a 'holiday resort'.
