Just to be clear on this, if they do offer 50%, it will NOT be 50% now, it will be 50% over the next 5 years and nothing more. 

As MM say's they WILL renege on this, and if they do what happens then??

They are just buying time (sorry, buying is the wrong word, when have SJ paid for anything).  Ask yourself why it's taken 2 years to get to this point. Have you ever thought that the longer this goes on, the legal system will also be taking a fee from any money that might be there.  You can also guarantee that SJ will be employing family members and paying them a wage in order to launder any money.  The longer they can hold out the more they will take.

I agree with MM and anyone else who believes that we should terminate this company NOW!!

What i am trying to get across (albeit badly!!) is that if (and yes its a big IF) HdT or SJ came to me on the 6th March or whatever date they have delayed it to now, and offered me 50% cash in hand to walk away then I WOULD SNATCH THEIR HANDS OFF

I know this is most unlikely and in my own head the money has gone, never to be seen again.

If SJ and Hdt are allowed to continue , i will most likely not see my money, if they are  liquidated i will most likely not see my money.

I and many others do not have the luxury of a bank guarentee to fall back .

I certainely would not believe any promise made about paying money back over the next 5 years,but if the money was LITERALLY on the table in front of me and all i had to do was accept the loss of 50 % to be able to draw a line under this , then i would do it.

Hi thicktheviking  I am far from mixed up and I am going to keep this as simple as possible to enable you to understand what I am saying .

It does not matter what SJ say they will do or what agreements you sign and they agree to , the chances are that whatever they offer will NEVER come to fruition as they are in no position to deliver any deal of any kind  . They are SKINT and without dipping into their personal wealth can not pay anyone anything at all .They are not about to dip into their personal wealth for me ,you or anyone else therefore the game is indeed  a bogey (lost) .

Trouble is the50% now  deal will never be " on the table "  if it were do you think you would be alone in grabbing it with both hands  , Don't be so patronising of course anyone with half a brain would grab 50% as opposed to nothing .The trouble is it will never be an option and even if promised or agreed by SJ will never happen Not now, Not  in 5 years time ,Not ever.  FACT

Now that you are an expert on bank guarantees and there execution and given your superior knowledge of the Spanish judicial system would it be possible for you explain to all on the forum the "luxurious " process of executing such a document as I am in the process of doing so and am far from " falling back "  MM

I KNOW it is never going to happen, i am not as stupid as you are making out.

As for the LUXURY of a bank guarantee, the reality is that there have been people who HAD bank guarantees who now have their money back. FACT.

To the best of my knowledge, NO-ONE without a bank guarantee has had even one penny back, yes there are many who have bank guarantees who are still waiting for money back , (i guess from your response that includes youself?) but surely, maybe i am wrong(?) you still  have more of a chance than those without a guarantee of eventually getting something back?

Can i ask a question, what happens when SJ or Hdt, are liquidated and you do have a bank guarantee?

I am not trying to cause an argument over who has what , I genuinely do not know what would happen in this situation?

Having a bank guarantee means you deal with the bank who issued the guarantee not SJ.  So it doesn't matter what happens to SJ now or in the future.  But that doesn't mean you just go and pick up your money.  Normally it means taking out legal action against the bank (which is also wrong).  I do know a couple who went down this route and did eventually win.  But for the rest of us..... why we were ever allowed to sign???... why did the banks keep accepting deposits knowing they weren't issuing BGs???

Tony (SARC), next time you have a meeting with SJ perhaps you could let us all know and we can pop along and make a contribution... I may even consider arranging my own meeting quite soon.

Can't we discuss those that are suing the recieving bank for taking our deposits and not enforcing Provision 1 of Law 57/68 this may be more productive than the no less than 50% over no more than 5 years crap everyone is wasting their time on . MM

MM  we like others cant be bothered with discussing things as you and smart arse FIN  rideculed and shot everything up, so no point in saying anything especially as there is nothing to say. Like i said before you always say you know something but when challenged you cant , so to me you are just a timewasting troublemaker.  As far as im aware calling you mixed up meg is hardly insulting.   You always bad mouth and insult people who dont agree with you.   Also i dont pretend to be smart like you, and have no intrest in law 57/68 because as you are always harping on about noone seems to take notice of the law in spain anyway, so get over yourself .  EOS would be a better place without you.  Then maybe it would see proper discussions again.
