Alhambra Palace

I know there was a short thread about the Alhambra Palace in Granada middle of last year but I cant find it. Can anyone who has done the journey and the visit tell me how long it took them to get there. I have relatives visiting CdA in August and they would like  to do this trip.

I have been to the Alhambra Palace in the past and it is well worth the visit. I did the drive to Granada from Condado last year to go skiing in the Sierra Nevadas not to the Alhambra, but it takes about the same time 2 hours 45 Minutes.

Thanks Paul- my relatives want to do the Alhambra visit in a day and know they have to book time slot tickets. It'll help them plan having details from someone who has made the journey. to Granada.

it's a great place to visit and would recommend an over night stop as there a 2 or 3 hotels right by the entrance. It can be tiring especially on a very hot day and Granada itself is worth paying a vist to - posted a couple of Alhambra snaps from a visit last year

A stopover was my suggestion, especially as its worth seeing Granada as well. But they say that sort of drive isnt unusual for them, living in the USA, they do it to spend day at the beach. So advice given, I left it at that.
