Does anyone know if the swimming pool at the top of the site between blocks 16 & 17 is open yet? The notes from the AGM suggested it would be open for this summer.

If it is open, have any sunbeds been provided?

John

I was there a few weeks age and it looked like the pool was open, but there were no sunbeds.

It looks all clear and open but I haven't walked passed it yet and seen the padlock off!!  And that was between the times that AEA have posted that the pools are open - 11 to 15.00h and 16.00 to 20.00    Who on earth made up these timings???  If I'm at the pool at 3pm and am told to leave ..... well, I could not post my response here!!  How daft!!

Hi

We went into the AEA office last week to ask when the pool would be open and apparently they are still waiting for the licence and are going to chase it up.   We were told the same thing last year though!!!

I suggest you write to AEA rather trust those in the office. Melisa should be able to help.

The pools only have to close when the attendant is not there and the 2 largest pools are the only ones which legally need an attendant. The new attendant at the bottom pool asked me to leave at 8pm recently when he left and suggested i could use the pool near block 10.

JC1, it appears that the notices are at the entrance of all the pools, irrespective of whether they are required to have an attendant present or not.  The pool next to us (between block 10 and 12) has the same notice, as does the one at the top as you enter on the right.  Seems pretty stupid to me that they would have to close between 3-4pm.
