Any News from the AGM???

Hi,

This is my first post on the site.  My husband and I are just in the proccess of purchasing an apartment on condado.  My husband was hugely disappointed to find out the 2euro internet option had been declined at the AGM.  He is determined that he wants to get internet access at our apartment.  Can anyone advice on the cheapest and best method of doing this at the moment.  Also i was wondering, having read previous threads on this, if the community needs 100% votes for anything which increases the community fees even by such a small amount then how come it was able to get passed at some other polaris resorts.  Did they require/achieve the 100% vote ? 

Also i have not seen any mention of news of sport zone preposals from the AGM.   Were the 2 proposals i have read about on this forum not discussed or considered because again it involved a very slight increase in community fees ?      As a family we would love to see the sports zone being fully utilized and  feel it would be very detrimental to the community if it was not used and maintained.    

Our sale should go through on15th June and we are really looking forward to our first visit in July.

I believe other communities pay enough fees to be able to introduce such facilities without any actual increases.  Otherwise I'd be surprised if they could get 100% of the votes.

Congratulations JenC I am sure you will love it......... In relation to the internet I have got one of those dongle thingy's which I got from 'ptan' who posts on this forum and to be fair it works really well, a little slower than mine at home but apart from that it is excellent value and you just pay as you go once you have paid the initial fee.  I'm with you in relation to the sports zone area and was fully in support of the extra 2 euros per month suggestion but it appears there are obstacles in the way!!!!

Thanks Jackie for the information about the dongle.  I will try to contact ptan to arrange this.  Having read some other threads would  I also be right in saying he is the best person to contact for one of the tv set top boxes rather than purchasing from Polaris directly?
