Hi Folks
Just trying to keep the info coming to you all
Torre Alacantara Residents Update (April)
Well things are moving along in our little haven, and you will now be aware that the swimming pool is back up to standard and is being better maintained than before, yes right now it’s the COOLEST place to go
People are now receiving their Community pack and are setting up their bank payments, I have no feed back of problems in this area, if you have not received a pack yet do check the local mail office in the village (If you live here), drop an e-mail to me or Laura at Adfinsur (info@adfinsur.com) or weirc1@hotmail.co.uk
If you have a holiday home here but are registered with your UK address your pack should be delivered there
Snagging problems ongoing contact me if you want to have them put before Taray
Community spirit is certainly being demonstrated by many people, cleaning gates, tidying gardens, and getting together for drinkies brings the community together—Super stuff
I was asked by some people to try and get answers to some of their questions from Taray and also get updates to some of my own, below is some of the info I think you may find interesting
Certificates of Habitation
Every Owner must come to the head office in San Javier to pick it up or we beg for your help to arrange an appointment in Torre Alcantara to hand it over at the same time. I will ask more about this
Keys
Taray are updating their list to arrange an appointment to hand the keys over to each client or to someone who signs on their behalf with a prior authorization -In writing.
Water
We already made the application to hand over the complex to the town hall, we are expecting the final license to obtain the permission to connect you to the main water supply, you must understand that all the paper work takes time to successfully be obtained, so again it’ll take a bit of time more.
The removal of the fencing that surrounded the generator site on Calle Vizconde de Ros, and the Taray flagpoles positioned in the building area
Taray have already given the order to remove it all together.
So there you have the info from the horse’s mouth
Last but not least – some of the ongoing challenges
Street cleaning
Postal delivery
Boxes for flyers (to save them going all over the streets)
Street light repairs
