Hi there.  Please can anyone update me on what has happened about the noisy dogs in bloque eight.  There doesn't appear to have been any news since the beginning of April.

I was out in April and it was very peaceful, I hope it is continuing.  I wish the owners of any dogs would take the same responsible attitude to the nuisance that can be caused particularly with respect to the dogs' toilet habits.

We didn't hear any noise when we were out March 30th - April 11th

I live 'next door' to Duquesa Village in La Vizcaronda and we had a problem with some noisy dogs in Bloque 11 until recently.

Every time someone walked past the end house of this bloque, first one dog would bark, and then another... until all four were barking.

Oue President got involved after we had a committee meeting (I'm a member of said) to discuss the situation, and we decided to follow Maria's advice (upon my advice that we do so) and suggested to the tenant and owner that we could do some or all of the following:

TechNoApe, do you mean bloque 11 in La Vizcaronda?  For a moment I thought that we had more dogs in DV to worry about!!

What's the news on the dogs in bloque 8?  Anyone been disturbed with dogs barking recently?  Seems to be all quiet at the moment!

We have just come back from a fantastic week + in DV. No sound of any dogs at all(apart from the ones in the valley, but thats just life) What is an issue is that the owners/tenants in Block2 staircase 4 have a dog that is let out to "mess"  on the grass areas. There are signs that state no dogs but this is ignored. The owners actually stand while the dog messes up the area. This is both unsightly and a health issue. I indicated that this was unacceptable but was ignored. This may be something AEA need to become involved in.

We've just returned from a relaxing few days in DV and there was dog mess on the pavement outside the gate of the Bloque 10 pool right beside the 'no dogs' sign.  Unfortunately we did not notice this happening or would have had a word with the owner(s).  My husband had to use a stone to move it to one side so the pool gate could be opened.

Do know the nationality of the owner of the dog in staircase 4  block 2?

Do you know the flat number and the breed of dog?

You can PM the details if you have them and can get the President to write them a letter.

Can anyone tell me what actually happened to the noisy dogs in Block 8, stairway 25.  I've searched through all the threads and find comments from people to say that when they visited last, all was quiet.  But no one has mentioned how the problem got resolved.  And please excuse my lack of knowledge, but what is a denuncia, and how is it applied etc.  We're coming over in September and are looking forward to the peace and quiet.  Did the occupants move out or were the dogs removed by the authorities?  Could someone kindly fill me in.  Also, is there any update on the dog fouling issue.  I have a two yrs old daughter and it is very unpleasant when you're enjoying a nice stroll through the gardens.

A denuncia is a formal complaint at the police station which is recorded on paper. After a number, (5 I believe) they will take action against the person or persons denounced.

 For example as well as disturbing the peace it could be a rogue sales person or organisation for not delivering a service or goods paid for.

I don't have an update on the problem in bloque 8.
