Holiday season nearly at an end so by the end of next week all shops will be open in Jumilla.
Do you have anyone on your map in Azucenas 309, 310, 311 or 312. or 305, 306, 307 or 308.
I ask because I have a list of available Azucenas in R4. 311 is still available and the list says it is 84.50 square metres with 80.29 Metre Square Garden. I have R 4 308 and my contract says 89.89 square metres with 80.69 square metre garden. I am trying to determine whether anyone has bought in any of the above quads recently and what their contract says the square meterage of the house is as 5 square metres is a big difference in the overall house size and they obviously have to build all 4 in the quad the same size.

Linda glad to hear you are well and that the shops will be open soon, the only other one on my map is Fiona & John who have 312 though i don't think they post on this forum who knows they may be watchers and you might get a reply.

My Laird has started going to Hunmamby Hall for a round it is a nice little course if you are looking for a change, also he says Far Grange will be a monster to climb in a few years once all the trees have grown

Hi Gal.
I am actually 516. Never played Hunmanby but played Far Grange several times. Tend to play inland for a change from Links, it's quite relaxing not to be fighting the wind all the time.

Ken. The list I have is dated 30 August 2007. Could it be a typing error? The Azucenas avaiable all say 84.59 M2 with variable garden sizes. 515 is on the list.

Hi All.
We signed our first contract on 3-8-2004 and because SJ did not reach their completion date we signed a second contract and they have not reached their completion date on that either which was { March 2007 } On both the contracts the build size is 89.89M2 and the garden size is 80.69M2. This i thought was standard because it is also shown as such on their leaflets and advertising material. Although i suppose an end plot of Azucenas could have a bit of extra land and be slightly larger on the garden bit but i would have thought the main build would have been the same size, so i dont know where 84-59M2 or 88M2 comes from.
Although we still fully intend to retire to Santa Ana, hopefully next year, because SJ have missed their last 2 completion dates and we have a bank guarantee, we are not going to sign anymore contracts until we see how they are progressing, just to keep our options open, but we really hope all goes well and to plan at long last.

Hi Bob Hope you and Pauline are both well. Kevin and Vera Lawler were here and whilst they were on site picked up an availability list from the site. On the list they obtained it had the build size for the new Azucena as 84.50M2. Last week I asked SJ Head Office by email for a list of available Azucenas on R4. This also says that the available Azucenas are 84.50M2.
The available Azucenas on R 4 according to this listing are Plot no's
271, 311, 382, 407, 442, 451, 465, 467, 469, 471, 502, 503, 505, 511, 515, 531, 535, 539, 543, 546, 549, 551, 557, 558, 562, 565, 566, and 569.
I am trying to determine whether or not the size of the Azucena has changed.
We are going to meet with SJ in Orihuela at the end of this month and I have a list of questions which need answering satisfactorily before we sign another contract.

Yes we are both very well and we do hope you and David are as well.
When you go in to see SJ i am sure there will be a logical explanation regarding the size of the mentioned plots. If of course the size applies to all the Azucenas on R4 there are 2 points which i would like you to raise with them, if you would be so kind Linda. Firstly, which room or rooms are affected by the loss of approximately 5M2, and secondly, by what percentage are they going to reduce our contracted buying price, since in our case the price was for an Azucena 89.89M2. They cannot give any of us 5M2 less for the same price. AS PER OUR CONTRACT.

Hi All.
If it is of any help as per my contract the ground floor is 51.44m and the first floor is 36.72m totaling 88.16m. Also if there are still 28 left available that means they have sold only 8 properties since April.

I see your point about having only sold 8 Azucena properties since April on R4 but of course some people may be buying Azucenas on later phases, perhaps because they are not going to Spain for 2 or 3 years and do not want the property to be ready too soon. { I know thats a joke anyway }. Or maybe on later phases they can get one in a position that suits them better, or they may have other reasons for not buying on phase 1. Taking that into account and all the other appartments and villas they have for sale, i would think they are selling quite a few properties each year Ken.
If of course they are not selling that well, i for one as i have said on this forum before, would be quite happy as i would prefer only 1 golf course and fewer properties, with the final outcome giving a feeling at Santa Ana of more of a village feel than that of a town. Only time will tell though.

I wasn't aware that the later phases had been released for sale yet. When i enquired about possibly purchasing on a later phase i was told they had not been released and when they were the price would increase dramatically. This info as you can imagine encouraged me to purchase on R4. If you are saying later phases have now been released with no price increase then i have been seriously missinformed by SJ. Would apprecite your reply.

Sorry Ken slip of the typing finger or was it brain. I meant to say some people are buying on other blocks such as R7-R10-R14 etc., and some of those will be completed much later than R4, as there appears to be various completion dates banded around up to 2009. I would not have thought that another Phase has been released yet until they are well under way. Sorry for the missunderstanding.

Hi folks
I don't often post but the discussion about the siZe of the Azucenas grabbed my interest. We are on R4, numbers 346 and 425. We signed the contracts in Feb 2006. The contracts give the house area as 89.89m2 and garden as 80.69m2. Still chasing up bang guarantees! Good to see so many neighbours on R4.
