In the absence of any statement from Priensur we can yet again only speculate as to the delay in completion.
To my mind, this whole situation regarding the new road has been the root cause of Town Hall not granting the License.
They were obviously taking a very tough line with all Developers fronting that stretch of road, notably Priensur, and unless and until they at least part footed the bill for the road, there would be no completion.
Priensur then buggered about for several months, hoping for a change in Mayor/ess to deliver divine intervention, and since it was not coming with the new Mayoress, have had to cave in and bite the bullet.
That's why there was no hurry fixing the infamous water pipe at the start of the year.
That's why there has been no communication from Priensur to us during this time, because, what were they going to say.........
"Sorry folks, we know your apartments are ready, and you're gagging to move in, but we are going to play Russian Roulette/Mexican StandOff with the Town Hall, and see who blinks first. Hope you don't mind"
Ya can't beat City Hall.
Still not sure where the generator/electricity fits into the scenario, so anybody's guess is as good as the next one.
The new road will be a fantastic asset to us and I for one am glad Town Hall are nailing all these things on our behalf before we complete.
I hope they go through the Developement with a fine tooth comb before any Licence is granted and make sure everything is tickety boo.
The pressure is now off us and unto Priensur.
