Town hall told her that all section reports will be sent to Junta's office in the next few day's,The final approval will come from the Junta's political office which meet every 2 month's she think's october or november, the fact that all report's were done in conjuntion with the Junta's general office all should be ok. Surely were back in the positive zone..??, would Huma still be banging on with this if they knew the end result was no..??, surely the council must have an idea what the end result will be to go through all of this..??. Perhaps its me but instead of seeing the sun breaking through the cluds every now and then its starting to shine through..??.
I can now wait for a November answer because it now looks like were waiting on only "one" answer from the Junta, everything else has been done which is at least good news because if it is a "NO" then we'll be put out of our misery soon.

new spanish authorization on www.almanzora.cc dated 25 Sept 2007 - not sure what it means as it is in spanish. If anyone can translate and post, it would be appreciated.
website also claims 10% discount for those wanting a swap to mazarron country club

Not clear what the 10% offer is!!! Does it mean 10% off the two bedroom, fully furnished 'bungalows' they are selling on MCC for 130,000 euros? Wow, that works out at 13,000 euros - £8000 or so? Not much of a compensation offer for all of the years of stress!!! And looking at the MCC discussion boards, wouldn't that be a bit like out of the frying pan into the fire????

The forms shown on the web site are for all the sectional reports re the developemnt application and confirms that they have all now been done to the satisfaction of the local council
It now has to go to the Junta [ regional[ for confirmation which is expected circa October 2007
I know that dates keep drifting but the same would happen in Uk
These type of reports would be needed for a large UK developemnt.....eg Roads layout approved bt transport dept , environmental impact
Does anyone really beleive that everyone is going to all this trouble for a development which will not be built!!!!
Or can you beleive that it is a big con by Huma!!!
Be real!!!!
However there has been a long delay and they are not yet back on site and for some they want to be in Spain now and there is nothing wrong with that .....and if that is your time scale then do it
there are lots of nice homes to choose from but not at the 2005 ACC prices
It is strange that you hear some people getting out in 6/8 weeks others having great problems
It seems to me that a lot depends on your approach......people who get agitated and want Huma's scalp seem to take a long time and those who just ask for their money back get it
If you are having problems with your agent or lawyer just go direct to Huma

2 Points. I and other I know have simply asked for money back and were delayed for 5 months by HUMA. Only then did I want their scalp.
Secondly, you say
Does anyone really beleive that everyone is going to all this trouble for a development which will not be built!!!!
But surely these reports should have been done before building started and are just part of any process for permission to build. If it was the case that because the reports have been done they will get permission then no one would be denied permission. Or am I missing something in the logic of your argument.

Rowlandsbb,
thanks for the translation.
Water under the bridge in terms of what should have been in place, at least this is another step towards final approval (hopefully).
I think you would have to be stupid to believe this is a hoax by Huma just to drag it out (for what reasons??? money is in bank guarantees and would be paid out anyway, granted interst is being earnt). Huma are obviously confident of final approval to at least keep going and spending money getting approvals etc, plus having equipement idle on site doing nothing. Whether it ever gets approved though, is a different issue and out of Huma's control.
If you can wait, great. If not, move on and may your next purchase be trouble free.

If building was about to start in the near future HUMA would announce it with a roar of trumpets and the dancing horses they are now going to train on the Country Club.
There has been no such announcement so please dont all think building is starting in October.
Hopefully it is a step in the right direction and your hopes should be in proportion to that.
We are also in the asking for our money back politely group, and keeping an eye on reports about ACC as we were one of the first ones to buy. It will be great to see it work out for you guys next year.

Sticking with the don't shoot the messenger theme:
There is a point of view post on the Viva Almeria site, which is well worth a careful read. Only a point of view, but an interesting one from someone who has tried to look at the wider picture.

Thanks Bri
Thats what worries me. Wasn't aware of this bit though
"The Spanish National Government at the beginning of this year passed a law, stating that because of the sustained over development in Spain, any Province shall not allow any Municipal Area to increase it's housing, greater than 3% over a period of 8 years over the existing buildings present ( I belive that to be the figure) ie; 1000 villas = 30 new over 8 year period.
As I see it, if planning had not been granted before that date, they must comply and restrict the building to that amount. So as planning has not been granted, it is unlikely that any large development will receive the permission and they know it. Which leaves developers with a large amount of money stashed away nicely gaining interest daily and the longer they can stretch it out, the more they make, without doing the building they promised to their clients and with the increasing bank rate in the EC, "thankyou very much". If these people where to do the right thing, the money will be in a client account, so that compensation, along with money paid to them, can be retuned with interest. But I feel this will not be the case unless people take steps to recover THEIR money"
