Hi all

i sent of for a cancellation form in october and still  have not recceived it , aldea always seem to be on answear machine dont no if anybody else has a problem getting through?

Can anybody tell me the date that the builders went of site as we bought in october 05 and after our intiall deposit of £2000 we sent the first stage payment , (to our surprise it sat in the solictors holidng account for a year) we are wondering if that is were our £2000 is.

They  went off site circa end Oct /start Nov 2005

If you sent your deposit after this to your lawyers and not direct to Huma then they should not have paid any money to Huma without telling you  

If you know that it was in the account of your lawyers for a year, say to Nov 2006 then it would be even worse if they then paid it to Huma

Your lawyers may just be sitting on it

You should be very pro active in getting your money back even if you still want to buy at ACC...why should the lawyers get the interest   

Use e-mail , your selling agent or if you have to, go to Spain to confront them....at the least you want to know what happened to your money and where it is

I presume that you do not have a Bank Guarantee so even more important to clear this up asap
