Q   If you could would you ban holiday lets?
A   If a person buys on a residential complex, it should be kept a residential complex and not a commercial zone.

Q   Have you had a bad experience with neighbours in a holiday let previously?
A   Not personally, as others which I have for my own use tend to be on very large plots. But I must say I am aware of holidaymakers being made to feel uncomfortable at poolside of a residential complex, where residents have made it known that they are not welcome.

Q If you have Spanish neighbours on a permanent basis it may be just as noisy as have 6 male golfers
A Agreed, but at least it is something that can be adjusted to, as opposed to perhaps half a dozen lager swillers who have no consideration for others, especially when returning after "a good night out". Then, the next week, the six unruly kids taking up residence, where the parent/parents let do as they wish "to keep them quiet". Haven't you seen such at airports?

What about your Plot and Zone number you seem to have gone a bit quiet on that one it would be the Alms house would it ?

I don't want to sound rude/be rude but who do you all think you are? there will be more than just the hand full of people that you are living on this complex including me, and i fully intend to rent out my house and no-one can do anything about it, it is my house and i have bought it, only spanish law or who-ever deals with it decides.  I have read posts for a long time and only posted once or twice myself, but you all talk as if it is your own private village, you will get a sharp shock when they are all built and 75% are rented out to other holiday makers.  Dont be rude!

Talk about nice interesting topics instead of all this nonsense.

It was my intention to honour a request and not to comment further, but I would just like to say many thanks for your input and comments, which you will be pleased to hear, a decision has been made not to acquire on the development.
It did seem that the development may offer something different, but with comments such as:
"i fully intend to rent out my house and no-one can do anything about it,"
"75% are rented out to other holiday makers"
"probably a little tosser"
I fear not and it could just end up as another lager swilling, burger gulping resort complex.

I do wish you well with your targetted rental figures and will keep popping in just to see how things are going on.

Don't think my comments were wlecomed by all, but I must admit to being quite surprised at with all the media attention over the last couple of years, many people still purchase without knowing, or asking about things which may cost them money, i.e. Community Charges (and if they can opt out or ignore). Such things are with them for the duration of their ownership, as I know you are aware.
Obviosly, what I read in the press must not all be fiction and a good example seems to be Catral, Costa Blanca and how many tears there are.

I aslo appreciate your well wishes regarding my choice or residence/holiday home. I already have a holiday home in Spain, and just thought that this may be a little better than many, but, it is often the people that make the location.
I sincerely believe that my questions and comments would not be so off putting to prospective purchasers, as the comments:
"I don't know who the hell you are"
"probably a little tosser who works for polaris world or other developer"
"I doubt whether you could even afford to buy an apartment"
"Go and bury yourself"

would be.

Hope that the owners who choose to rent, at least will have sense to employ the services of registered business (which I believe you have) and not the "I can do it cheaper than them" fly-by-nights.
